My daughter has been at Guardian since she was 4 months old, and I also used to work there with the original Jane’s Place team — it used to be amazing. The centre had such a warm, welcoming feel, consistent educators, and great communication. Sadly, that’s all changed. There’s a new staff member in the Lilypily Room almost every week, many of whom barely know the kids. Communication is poor, updates are generic, and the sense of community is gone. My daughter often says she had a “boring day,” which breaks my heart considering how much she once loved it. For the high fees Guardian charges, the decline in quality and consistency is unacceptable. I’ll be moving my daughter next year and can no longer recommend this centre to other families.

We had a wonderful experience at Guardian South Coogee Our daughter spent the last year there and we couldn’t be happier. The team is caring, professional, and truly dedicated to the kids. She loved going every day and we saw how much she grew and learned during the year. We highly recommend them to any family looking for a warm and reliable childcare center.

My daughter simply love there! All educators are so kind and polite with all kids. The place is tidy and clean. I feel like my daughter is in good hands and I don’t need to worry at all when she is there. I highly recommend this childcare! They do an amazing job! I’m so grateful for their hard work and I can’t describe how much my daughter is happy going there. Thank you guys!

Our eldest son started at Eden Academy when he was 11 months old and is now in the preschool room. We are so grateful to have found Eden as he is so happy there. All staff are kind and professional and appear to know the names of all the children in the centre. Regular input is sought from families about their goals for their child and centre staff incorporate these goals within a rich curriculum while facilitating the development of a highly supportive network around the child. Perhaps most importantly, the educators here celebrate and encourage the individual strengths of each child and family, providing a strong basis for children to develop the necessary confidence and independence to learn at their best. We are extremely grateful for the important role Eden plays in the life of our child and hope that our youngest will join him there later this year.

We love this centre! My 20month year old girl started attending 2 days when she was 10m/o and the transition to daycare was better than I expected. The educators are amazing and my girl loves them. Shout out to Sarah, Stef and Sujata in the babies room. We love the fact that all educators across the centre and its manager, get to know the families and children (and all names), which I’m sure that it will help the kids to transition from one room to another when the time comes. The menu is another plus, meals are very balanced and nutritious, chef Mariel is so lovely and is constantly sharing her recipes via the app. We are very happy with Eden South Coogee :) and we are hoping that my newborn attends there too.

What a centre! Our 3 year old has experienced all rooms, from baby to preschool, and our 1 year old is currently in the baby room. As an educator myself I have high expectations across curriculum, outdoor messy play experiences, social and emotional support, nutritious and positive food experiences, and an exceptional school readiness program. Guardian South Coogee expertly and consistently delivers in all areas. The team truly creates a home away from home for our children, developing genuine, caring bonds with our babies, and supporting parents every step of the way. I love that this centre isn’t massive- the educators across each room know every child and parent by name, even if they aren’t the educators of your child’s room, which helps smooth transitions between rooms and helps your child feel a sense of belonging. We couldn’t be happier having this team in our corner nurturing our kids.

What makes this centre, the carers. without them it wouldn’t be as incredible as it is. We couldn’t be more thankful or grateful with the caters/facilitators, education and support they provide us and our little one. Couldn’t recommend this centre highly enough.
