My wife and I are so appreciative of the support, professionalism and care shown for our Son. We did our due diligence in touring local centres and the moment we walked into West Lakes Green Leaves we were met with such warmth, comfort and reassurance. This started with outstanding communication through Bec who goes above and beyond in her administrative role to not only fulfil her duties but consciously make effort to build meaningful relationships with the families and children, to which ours adore her. Jess (Director) and Ashleigh (3IC) are extremely hospitable and accomodating to a fault, this gave us great confidence entrusting them with our Son, but additionally in the fact that these are dedicated professionals with deep understanding, expert knowledge and clear passion for their careers and all the happenings within the centre. Within 4, 1 day per week visits our Son has developed meaningful relationships with the educators and has progressively developed his confidence and engagement in the abundance of resources on offer. We couldn't be more pleased with our decision and would highly recommend this centre to other families who take the decision of childcare enrolment as carefully as we did.

6 weeks - 12 months
Their passionate and experienced Educators work closely with families to ensure each baby’s routine is personalised to meet their individual needs. The children take part in activities within a stimulating learning environment. They enjoy group time during their music and movement program, or visits from special guests. Throughout the day, the babies enjoy taking part in songs and storytelling, sensory activities, and messy play in the garden. Under the guidance of their Educators, the babies enjoy their meals and snacks with their friends. During Nursery nap time, they are taken into the sleeping area where gentle music and a twinkling night sky encourages them to rest.
2 years - 3 years
The Educators recognise that routines for toddlers are an important opportunity for learning. Performing daily, predictable tasks while having fun is a chance for toddlers to build their self-confidence, communication and social skills. The toddlers enjoy a daily rhythmic routine which assists them to transition between activities throughout the day. They take part in activities such as music, yoga, cooking, painting, drawing, singing and dancing, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) based activities and the centre’s sustainability program. The toddlers also enjoy mealtimes with their friends and Educators.
4 years - 6 years
The Educators ensure the children's environment is fun and inviting, encouraging quality play-based experiences to help them develop memory skills, language and self-regulation, supporting the transition to school and academic learning later in life. The children enjoy yoga, visits from special guests, and regular excursions to local parklands. Mealtimes are an opportunity for the children to enjoy social interactions with their friends and Educators, as well as learn about body awareness and nutrition. Practicing independence, the children help to set up, serve, and clear away their dining area. Throughout the day, the Preschool children engage in activities that include literacy and numeracy games, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities to encourage children to think creatively and critically. Many of the children particularly enjoy the outdoor adventures around the bike track or expanding their green thumb knowledge, through cultivating the edible flower and vegetable gardens that provide countless hours of eco-education and fun.
3 years – 4 years
Research shows that play-based learning supports a child’s development, with 90 percent of a child’s brain developing by the time they turn five. Our Junior Preschool program is designed to provide curious 3-year-olds with a well-rounded play-based learning experience. Supported by qualified and experienced Educators, the children learn key skills such as creative thinking and problem-solving, develop social and emotional skills, as well as early literacy and language skills – which lays the groundwork for success later in life. Nutrition plays a vital role in childhood development. At Green Leaves Early Learning, the centre Chef prepares nutritious meals based on seasonally crafted menus to nourish active growing bodies.
As part of their learning journey, babies, toddlers, and children will take part in Chef-led culinary classes, where they will learn the importance of nourishing their bodies while preparing wholesome snacks.

Green Leaves is more than just a childcare centre for us, it's the extension of our family. We loved the feeling the second we went on the tour of the centre. There is such a loving and caring feel when you walk through the doors. Our son started attending Green Leaves at 18 months old and the team worked closely with settling him in and adjusting to his needs as he found his feet the first few days! The educators have the perfect structure throughout the day of challenging the children to work on strengths and weaknesses in a perfectly balanced fun & educational approach. We have noticed a huge positive difference in our son with his approach to communication and interacting with others. It's clear with his excitement at drop off and the sprint to his room that he absolutely loves his days at Green Leaves. If you're unsure on wether Green Leaves is the right fit, watch the smile on the children's faces whilst they're playing on the perfectly set up facilities and stand outside listening to the laughter and chatter amongst the children and it's a no brainer that this is the place they want to be! Our bubs has settled in so quickly at West Lakes - the staff have been kind, welcoming, calm and very nurturing. We couldn’t ask for more. Oh! And the food is great!! Our little guy eats verrrryyyy well 😅
