They have a wonderful outdoor area and a brand new playground for the older children to play on. The kids can’t stop talking about it! Not to mention goats, chickens, a fish, Guinea pigs and they intermittently care for other animals there. The children love helping care for all the animals.

My son is currently attending the Kindy program and he absolutely loves it. He even asks if he can go to kindy on weekends. Good kindy program that focuses on life skills, confidence-building and independence. There are lots of room to explore both indoor and outdoor environments. My son especially loves going to the farm to see the goats and the chickens. He also loves to say hello to the Guinea pigs in the foyer. I love the fact that my son can connect to the world in a tangible and tactile way. The community is also very warm and caring. I’m very grateful to have found this “hidden gem” for my son.

Enrolled my daughter when she was about 15 months in Toddlers room, toddlers staff easy to deal with and great communication. She’s now in Junior Kindy and never would we have thought the care would be so different in just changing rooms. Since being in Junior Kindy there has been multiple incidents where it really shouldn’t happen, we have collected her walking out with one shoe on, an educator has dressed her and put her knit cardigan on the wrong way (tag is on clothes and you can clearly see that it was on wrong), broken drink bottle and they didn’t even have the decency to let us know or put the lid that had “disappeared” in her bag or box, seen our daughter drink out of the educators water bottle while they were too busy chatting, consistently every week losing sheets, blankets & children’s comforters. Incident occurred where my child was had bitten another child, the educator only cared about me signing the paperwork, disregarded my questions, never provided the copy and spoke in a careless manner. I had to send an email regarding this and the still took a week until I was provided a copy of the incessant report. Starting to seem like they treat the parents concerns and belongings are their laughing stock.

My son has been attending this place since he was just 8 months old. He gets so excited when I come to pick him up that he often says, "Just a little more time, Mum, see you soon!" When your child is happy, you can really tell they’re in the right environment. From the owners to the management and all the staff, this is definitely the place you want for your kids! The staff and owners at this centre are incredible. As a previous child care worker i was very picky when choosing a childcare centre for my children and grassroots has exceeded every expectation. We walk in and feel like we are apart of the family, every educator from every room know my kids and greets them and my daughter will go to any of them for a cuddle at drop off. My kids come home telling me how much fun they have had and asking if they are going again tomorrow.

Both myself and my husband were super impressed with this daycare our 2 year old absolutely loves it there and the educators and director are all amazing and so helpful. Cant recommend them enough.

This Steiner Childcare centre is just beautiful, Michelle and the team are so welcoming and nurturing. They really focus on the connection the children have with animals, nature and each other. They supply all meals and have a great farmhouse that the kids absolutely love.
