I can admit I judged Being by the outside at first. I’d heard it had a bit of a bad rep, so I almost wrote it off, but I’m so glad I didn't. I’m actually really happy to be sending my daughter here now. The community feel is just lovely. The chef knows my daughter by name and she usually comes out most mornings to say hello and let us in. The staff are great too, a lot of them have been there for a long time, which I like, and I love how diverse the teachers and kids are. When we first started, my daughter really struggled with the transition, and she wasn't eating much. The teachers were so good about it; multiple staff came up to ask me what her favourite foods were and really tried to help her settle in. The big selling point for me was the outside area. They’ve got a big undercover verandah and a nice play space where they do reading, eating, and circle time. Since we live in an apartment, having her outdoors that much is huge, and I think it definitely helps with things like sickness and germs. I think it just depends on what you’re looking for. I don't think the place is perfect by any means. But there are teachers I can trust, low sickness and turnover, and my daughter is happy at the end of the day. She even learnt to count in Mandarin for the Chinese New Year. It has surprised me in the best way

I highly recommended being at river road My 2 year old comes home with new words everyday. She has learnt good manners, such as covering her mouth when coughing and washing hands after using the toilet. She has also learnt to share her toys with her sister. There are so many things I am happy with. Communication from the educators is another big reason I chose being at river road.

We visited several daycares in the area before stumbling upon Being Early - River Road almost by chance. We were passing by and decided to drop in unannounced, not knowing what to expect. What we discovered was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The centre was buzzing with happy, engaged children from diverse backgrounds, all being cared for by a team of genuinely attentive and experienced educators. Learning that many staff members have been with the centre for over 10 years spoke volumes about the culture and quality of care here. Our 2-year-old son has flourished during his first month at Being Early - River Road. He's coming out of his shell, developing confidence, and is full of smiles and energy when we pick him up each day. The educators have a wonderful way of understanding and responding to each child's unique personality and needs. We particularly appreciate how they keep us informed about his day—whether it's a new milestone, a funny moment, or something that needs our attention. What sets this centre apart is the perfect balance of structure and warmth. It's a busy, fun environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop both socially and physically, while always feeling safe and cared for. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will thrive, be truly seen as an individual, and develop meaningful connections with both peers and educators, I cannot recommend Being Early - River Road highly enough. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found them, and look forward to more years to come with more children to attend.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!! This kindy is by far the worst kindy I have ever sent my child too. The menus that they list online arent the menu that the kids have for lunch or afternoon tea. The 2 asain teachers were arguing to eachother in Chinese when I turned, this is by far not a good look for a kindy. When we go home after picking up my kids I asked my child if the learnt anything at kindy and was told that they dont try to a teach them to read or Write they just play games and run around. If you want kindy that will teach your kids how the developmental skills like reading and writing PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. I have also heard from someone in ine community that this kindy has changed names multiple times and claims to be 40 years old but rebranding doesnt count as 40 years.

We’ve had an amazing experience! The educators are wonderful, caring and attentive, the meals are healthy and the learning activities are thoughtfully planned! Ajantha and her team take the time to understand each child’s needs and personalities, which has made the transition so much easier! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately after going elsewhere I have realised how poor the standards of this daycare are. Sorry but I wouldn’t recommend.

We’ve been so pleased with how well our son has settled into his new childcare setting. The staff have been incredibly welcoming and supportive, helping him feel safe, confident, and happy from the very beginning. It’s clear how much care and attention they put into getting to know each child individually. We’ve already seen lovely progress in his development – both socially and emotionally. His language skills are improving, he’s engaging more with others, and he comes home excited to share what he’s learned and experienced each day. The daily updates and communication from the team give us real peace of mind and show just how much he’s thriving. Thank you to the team

Our family have loved our experience at Being River Road! The Educators build such a great rapport with the children. The team sent us daily pictures through the app, which was awesome to see what the kiddies are getting up to, and we were always very happy with the level of play based learning at the centre. They were even teaching the littlies the emergency services number (000) in case of an emergency. The food was great, varied, and healthy - and the team are very supportive. The centre is always very open with feedback, and proactively ask families their opinions on how they were meeting each aspect of the national quality framework. Highly recommend this centre - they are so encouraging and a very valued part of our village (because it takes a village to raise little people!!)
