This is one of the most concerning centres. We have received yet another email saying that the cook is "not well again."Why is nobody looking into this? Our children are being affected by these ongoing issues.I believe the current Centre Manager may have contributed to the cook's decision to leave. Staff turnover at this centre is extremely high, and this is already the second cook this year. The constant changes are creating instability for both children and families. Something needs to be done to address these ongoing concerns.
Poor kids

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Busy Bees at Kilburn. They have done an outstanding job creating a warm, caring, and welcoming environment. Our child was always eager and excited to go to childcare, which is probably the greatest reward a parent can ask for.
A big thank you to the entire team (Managers, Teachers, support staffs, chefs) for their care, dedication, and support.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my placement experience at Busy Bees Kilburn.
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While my first day went well, I began facing difficulties as the placement progressed. As a student, I was required to complete specific tasks and gain experience in different rooms to meet my course requirements. However, I was frequently moved from one room to another due to staff shortages.
The Educational Leader would often direct me to work in whichever room needed support on the day. When I explained that I needed to complete certain tasks in specific rooms for my placement, my concerns were not taken into consideration. Instead, I was instructed to remain in the rooms where staff support was needed.
As a result, I felt that my learning and placement requirements were not being prioritised. I often felt that I was being used to help cover staffing shortages rather than being supported as a student who was there to learn and complete placement objectives.
I also found the Educational Leader difficult to work with and felt that she gave me a hard time throughout my placement. When I raised concerns about my requirements, I did not feel supported or encouraged. This made the placement experience stressful and frustrating.
The situation became very upsetting, and on one occasion, I left the centre in tears because I felt overwhelmed, unsupported, and unable to complete the work required for my studies.
I believe placement students should be provided with appropriate guidance, support, and opportunities to achieve their learning objectives in a positive and respectful environment. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at Busy Bees Kilburn.
