I recommend this Child Care Centre to any families in the local area. My daughter had a wonderful time attending and forged strong bonds with her educators and the director Surya as well as her peers.

Our child attended Goodstart last year under the care of the lovely nursery educators and Surya’s committed and genuine leadership. As a former early childhood educator myself, I have a very high standard for my daughter’s care environment and Goodstart West Pymble definitely exceeded that standard. On the rare occasion there was an issue, I always felt confident to raise it and things were always remedied immediately. My daughter absolutely thrived and became more and more confident with every attendance. We moved areas late last year but kept her at Goodstart as long as we could despite a long commute, as it was just such a perfect fit. She thrived in the smaller environment with tons of outdoor space, nutritious food, kind educators and peers who were settled and confident as well. We will miss Goodstart greatly and know Pooja will do a fantastic job leading the centre!

We went for a tour as we were considering enrolling our child, but the first impression was disappointing. The centre didn’t feel very clean, with some areas looking messy and poorly maintained. For a childcare setting, hygiene is really important to us, so this was a concern straight away. We also got the sense that staff turnover is quite high, which made us question consistency and stability for the children. The tour itself felt rushed and some questions weren’t clearly answered. Overall, it didn’t give us confidence as parents, so we decided not to proceed.

We really love Goodstart West Pymble - the educators are so warm, friendly and genuinely care about our 2 kids. They put so much thought and effort into things like Mother’s Day celebrations and community events, and always take the time to follow each child’s interests and passions. Suyra is a wonderful director who leads with kindness and dedication. We’re so grateful for our 2nd family here!

Absolutely outstanding care and communication at Good Start West Pymble. My daughter started in January 2025 after we moved her due to a lot of issues at her previous centre, and the difference has been night and day. Suriya and her team took the time to sit down with me, truly listen, and reaffirm every concern I had from past experiences. I’m admittedly particular (and can be difficult!), but they have exceeded all my expectations. I love that they’re intentional about bringing in only the best carers — it really shows in the daily interactions and the calm, nurturing environment. We’ve had no issues or reasons for concern at any point during her time here, which gives me so much peace of mind. The variety of activities is fantastic, from engaging daily learning to well-planned excursions and festive, seasonal fun that my daughter talks about nonstop. Highly recommend Suriya and her team — five stars without hesitation.

My son has been attending this childcare center since February, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! He absolutely loves coming here every day, and it’s heartwarming to see how much he enjoys his time with the educators. Every educator is amazing—so kind, patient, and truly dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. A special mention to the center director, Surya—she is an incredible lady who knows and cares for every child as if they were her own. Her warmth, dedication, and passion for early childhood education make this place feel like a second home for the kids. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful, nurturing environment for our little one. Highly recommend this center to any parent looking for a loving and supportive childcare experience!

We started our two girls (1 and 3) at Goodstart 3 months ago. This is the third daycare our girls have been at - one was our old neighbourhood before we moved to this area (which we also loved), the second was another local daycare to the Pymble area - which we could tell our girls were not thriving in. We then moved them to Goodstart and we’ve been so happy with it. It has a lovely local, family feel to it - a bit smaller than other options around, and we can really feel that. Our girls can spend a little time together which has been really nice to nurture their relationship outside of the home. Our girls are incredibly calm and content after settling in. The daycare has a wonderful director; Surya, who is very committed, professional and involved - she’s such a pleasure to deal with and really knows her stuff, she’s given us great piece of mind leaving our girls there long hours each day around their care and early education. The daycare team are well established there and organise wonderful education plans for the kids, they’re allowed to be kids, with the benefit of fun and wholesome activities that are also educational. We highly recommend Goodstart as a great local daycare :)

We understood how difficult it is to find educators who are genuinely passionate about their job—people who love working with children and have the patience and dedication needed for such a demanding role. Even as a parent, handling just one child can be challenging, let alone caring for four or five at a time. So, with lowered expectations, we enrolled our child at Goodstart West Pymble—and to our surprise, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Within just two weeks, my little one made good friends—something that never happened in the previous center over two years. I never saw any child actively approach my shy and quiet little one before, but on the very first day at Goodstart WP, three peers welcomed him and played with him for the entire session. There was an incident where a little girl scratched my child’s face, leaving visible marks. However, instead of simply dismissing it, the educators used it as a teaching moment. They guided my child on how to stand up for himself and express his feelings when faced with unkind behavior. After two similar incidents, I discussed my concerns with the educators, and they fully supported my desire for my child to learn to voice his boundaries firmly and assertively. They not only encouraged my child to speak up but also worked on educating the other child about appropriate behavior. Beyond social and communication skills, the educators at Goodstart WP create an engaging and enriching environment. They set up various play stations, innovative and beautifully designed crafting workshops, storytelling sessions, and singing activities. My child, who never showed interest in crafting before, now absolutely loves it, thanks to the thoughtful activities at the center. Among all the wonderful educators, my child has a special fondness for Songyan, Clara, and Da Na. He often excitedly shares stories about what he did with them, and I am incredibly grateful for their care and dedication. Last but certainly not least, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Surya, the center director. She has been absolutely amazing, making the entire enrollment process seamless and handling all the administrative work efficiently. What I appreciate most is how she takes the time to listen, understand unique family circumstances, and go the extra mile to offer thoughtful solutions. Thank you, Surya, and thank you to the entire team at Goodstart West Pymble—we are truly grateful!

I am so happy with my decision to enroll my girls at Goodstart Early Learning, West Pymble. The educators here are amazing, and their genuine connection with the children sets them apart from other centers. It’s clear they care deeply about the kids, and it shows in how happy and engaged my girls are every day. The director, Surya, is equally wonderful. She is always open to feedback and listens carefully to any concerns I bring up. What stands out is her willingness to take action and continuously work towards improving the center.
