My son started at this childcare centre when he was just 2 years old, and now at 5, I can honestly say we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The educators have been absolutely wonderful—caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s development. I’ve always felt confident that my son was in safe and nurturing hands. One of the standout aspects of this centre is that it’s a family-run business. You can really feel the sense of consistency and community, and the low staff turnover makes such a difference. The familiar faces have helped my son feel secure and build strong relationships over the years. Most importantly, he has learned so much during his time there—socially, emotionally, and academically. It’s been amazing to watch his growth. He has now moved to the Mentone East branch and continues to thrive there, which really speaks to the consistency and quality across the centre. I’m incredibly grateful to the entire team and can’t thank them enough for the care and support they’ve given my son.

Words really don't do justice to the amazing work and care that Negar and her incredible educators show our little one each and every day.<br>After doing a number of centre tours, we left BELC knowing that this was where we wanted our toddler to go - it felt like a family and it truly is! We couldn't be happier and feel so happy and confident waving goodbye to our little one each day, excited to see what activities and memories she will make!

We entrusted Bayside Early Learning with our youngest in the babies room through to kindergarten. The staff and management are kind and caring. The onsite cook makes amazing lunches - that made me jealous of my little one. I recommend Bayside Early Learning Centre for parents in the Mentone-Cheltenham area.

I couldn't speak more highly of Bayside Early Learing Centre. My twin girls began care at Bayside almost 18 months ago and have had an amazing experience. Now a part of the Butterfly room, Negar and her professional team have created a very nurturing, warm and loving environment. My girls have formed strong and trusting relationships with their educators and are always excited and engaged with the learning activities organised. They spend the evening sharing and using the knowledge and experience they've gained and retelling stories about their fun day with their friends! From the first day we arrived the girls have been cared for with their individual needs and interests considered in all they do. When I leave my children at Bayside each morning I feel totally at ease that they are cared for and in great hands.
Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Bayside Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten offers a homely environment where children are respected as capable learners. Across two dedicated rooms one for babies and toddlers and one with a Kindergarten program the children engage in play-based and structured learning to support their needs.
Indoors, the spacious and open plan rooms can be adapted to suit different learning styles and activities. From group activities to individual play there are ample resources and materials to engage the children in fun learning. The rooms feature large windows that provide a regular connection with the beautiful outdoor play space.
Outside, the modern yard has a fort, climbing equipment, slides, cubby house, bike track, mud kitchen and swing. There is a large covered verandah for all-weather and sun safe play. The children are free to explore the yard, developing important physical and gross motor skills.
