Our daughter has been here for 4 years, she is 5 days a week and loves going to 'school' everyday. Her teachers are a very important part of her structure and very helpful with her medical requirements.

Brought my daughter to the centre about 2 years ago, she is now off to school! Out of the numerous centres I have taken my daughter this is by far the most welcoming and friendly daycare around My daughter was looked after and build long term friendships with kids and educators! I even left with an educator as a person I can call my friend and she wasn’t even in the same room as my daughter. Staff you could always have a chat with, and we’re very understanding with every situation that would arise. You can trust your kids at this centre that they will be looked after and treated right To all the educators at the centre we will miss you, and thank you for making my daughters experience one to remember ❤️

I wasn’t going to share this but given someone else has brought it up I thought it best to tell my story. My child attended Nursery 1 on Tuesdays and occasionally on Thursdays. We left the centre not because of the staff (Tegan, Alexis, Kristy, Shawnee, and Vani were outstanding!!) but because of Kiralee, whose behaviour made the environment unsafe, stressful, and unprofessional. On one Tuesday morning, staff were under pressure, working hard to settle both new and existing children, while Kiralee sat in the office and ignored their need for support. She then entered the room with an angry expression, demanding to know what was happening. The younger staff were visibly puzzled and stressed, and you could see the drain on their faces. The atmosphere shifted as soon as Kiralee appeared. Kiralee consistently focused almost entirely on her own child, often carrying him on her hip, and allowed him to physically hurt other children, including my child, with a metal water bottle. When he bit a staff member, she explicitly instructed staff not to say “no” to him, which encouraged harmful and unsafe behaviour. Her communication with staff was consistently rude, belittling, and dismissive, creating a toxic environment for everyone. I overheard another parent ask a staff member, “Is she always like this?” and “What is Leah doing about this?” The staff member smiled awkwardly, but you could see the stress on her face. Other staff shrugged, clearly frustrated. Kiralee treats staff extremely poorly. I also heard her ask a parent if their child had been “medicated” that morning and make them leave the service after they had given Nurofen for teething. Her son eventually left the centre due to needing more one-on-one care, highlighting the impact of her behaviour on the service. Management must take action to ensure staff are supported and all children are treated safely and fairly. I would not consider this service while Kiralee remains, and I know the centre has an open day coming up. Parents and staff alike deserve a safe, respectful, and professional environment, and this behaviour cannot continue if the centre hopes to maintain trust and care for all children.

Greenwood Rowville has been a wonderful environment for my child, and many of the educators and support staff deserve real recognition. Leah, the Centre Manager, is consistently outstanding — approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of both children and parents. Her communication and leadership have always made us feel heard and supported. The broader team at Greenwood has played a significant role in my child’s growth and confidence, and I’m truly grateful for the warmth and care they show every day. My experience with the Assistant Centre Manager, Kiralee, however, has been very different. I’ve found her to be difficult to approach and not particularly attuned to parents’ communication or emotional needs. Her interactions often feel dismissive, and there have been many occasions where I’ve been left feeling ignored or talked past, for example only saying hi and interacting with my child when I walk through the door for drop offs as if I don’t exist. As a result, I do not feel comfortable raising questions or concerns with her, and I choose instead to communicate with Leah or other members of the team who consistently demonstrate professional, respectful engagement. This contrast in leadership styles has made a noticeable impact on my overall experience. While I believe the educators and the centre as a whole offer a nurturing and high-quality program, my interactions with the Assistant Manager have created unnecessary stress at times. She lacks emotional intelligence and the skill to communicate effectively. I would recommend some communication, leadership and EQ training for her. How she became the assistant centre manager with no skills is beyond me. That said, I want to emphasise that the majority of the team at Greenwood Rowville is exceptional, and the care my child receives is the reason we continue attending. I deeply appreciate the staff who consistently show professionalism, kindness, and genuine dedication to their role.

Greenwood Rowville has been a wonderful centre over the past two and a half years that my daughter has attended. Director Leah and Assistant Director Kira-Lee run an exceptional service and are always approachable and supportive whenever I have had any questions or assistance. The Greenwood team has played a huge role in my daughter’s development and confidence. Every staff member has contributed to shaping my daughter into the little person she is becoming, and I am truly grateful for all of the love, care, support, guidance, and learning they have provided. We would absolutely still be at Greenwood Rowville if we did not have to relocate, and we will always be thankful for the beautiful start they gave our daughter.

Our son started at the centre when he was 5 to 6 months old and he’s now 20 months. He attends three days a week and has gone from nursery one into nursery two. Every time we pick him up he is happy. He’s having a great time. The staff are always cheery. They’ve been working long hours with many children all day and yet they have always got a smile on their face, a warm greeting and They’re laughing and having fun. They’re sharing the stories that the children have done during the day and it’s just such a relaxed atmosphere. You can see the genuine love and care they have for each child. We can see that he is learning so many things. He comes home with all these new skills and language and we love the learning plans and the contributions that the parents have, the daily updates and the little videos and photos. They just make us feel like our son is as special to you all as he is to us. We have worked in the industry where we have frequented hundreds of childcare centres over the last 17 years and we have to say that the feeling of care, family and community that we get when we walk into Greenwood Rowville is exceptional compared to many other centres that we have walked into and interacted with. We thank you. We thank the staff that look after him and commend you all on creating an environment that is fun, creative, loving, relaxed and safe for our child.

When you're a first-time mother, all of your instincts go into bonding with your child. When you have to go back to work, it feels like you're severing that a little. You put your faith in strangers. Faith that they'll care for your baby, that they'll love them when you aren't there to. To laugh with them, read to them, put them to sleep and create a safe place. When I enrolled my son at Greenwood, I was nervous, worried, and overwhelmingly guilty. The thought would send me to tears as D date drew near. Two weeks before the start date, I got a call from Leah, the Centre Manager. Not to check in on my baby, but me. How I was going. How I was coping with the change. I was offered orientation which I gladly took up, and let me tell you, I've never been more sure of a decision. When I take my son to Greenwood, we talk about who he is going to spend the day with. He's going to follow Tegan, he's going to play with Sunny, and Tamara will be there in the morning to say hello before she takes her troop into their room. Alexis will be there with a smile, Kiralee with give him a hug and Holly will read to him. Kristie will pop in to make sure there's a familiar face when he heads into the next room. Vani makes sure he eats his fruit and of course, Shaugny is there with a contact nap if things get dicey. Plus all the countless other friendly faces he sees everyday. In light of the current situation, as a first-time mum, this is my letter to other parents. Greenwood Rowville is safety. It's comfort and it's full of love and laughter - not just for my baby, but for the whole family.

I've been wanting to write this post for a long time.actually has taken me 2 years.. as I'm haunted every day by the event that took place here with my son. My son lost his tooth..at 18 months. from a fall... his tooth was litrally on the floor... not only did their story not add up to me.. they didn't have any footage of the incident.. which is so strange to me......... no follow up was given, no phone call... not even a call from department of health. Really think about where you send your child.... lucky he's ok.without his front tooth as it was a baby tooth. But absolutely shocking service.

In regards to the review written in the last 24 hours by a “Bibi”. I believe this to an outrageous claim, the centres cleaning policy’s are extreme and the children are well cared for. We have had a son in the centre for 3.5 years this year. And even during a sickness outbreak this year the children were well provided for and extreme cleaning measures were brought in by the centre to keep children safe and healthy. I believe this review to be in a negative light to ruin the reputation of the centre. It is a multicultural centre and we have never had a problem and we have another child in the centre and are about to enroll our third. Please I urge you to disregard this review or do a tour for your self. If I could rate this centre higher than 5 I would!

My 2yo attends this centre and has done since she was 9m old. I toured a few centres in the area and we chose Greenwood because it has a really lovely, relaxed and warm feel to it - we made the right decision! The educators are wonderful - so caring and really flexible to make sure all the children are happy and comfortable in their environment. My daughter loves it there and I would absolutely recommend this centre.
