Disappointing Experience – Lack of Flexibility With Basic Dietary Needs<br><br>I visited this centre for a tour after visiting another location the previous day as I really liked that location, hoping to find the same environment for my daughter. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.<br><br>During the tour, I explained my daughter’s usual breakfast and asked whether the centre could accommodate a simple alternative to cereal, which I do not give her. I never gave her cereal, porridge and I won't be giving. Her regular breakfast consists of feta cheese, cucumber, tomato, olives, bread and omelette. I understood that eggs were not permitted at the centre and was happy to work around that restriction.<br><br>However, the person repeatedly refused to accommodate this request, explaining that the menu was fixed, staff had limited time, cereal is easy to prepare, they don't have capacity to prepare what I asked and said the chef starts at 8 am. Even when I offered to have my daughter wait until the chef arrives there was no willingness to consider a solution. Instead, I was told that cereal or a cheese toastie could be offered.<br><br>I appreciate the importance of nutritional guidelines she was mentioning, food safety and operational requirements. However, I struggled to understand why such a simple breakfast alternative could not even be considered, particularly when the ask is very simple, not asking them to cook for hours or doesn't take ages to prepare it.<br>My disappointment was even greater because I had a completely different experience at another location, where the manager was welcoming, understanding and willing to work with us to accommodate our basic needs<br><br>A daycare should be a place where parents feel heard and confident that their child’s individual needs will be taken seriously. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that operational convenience was prioritised over a reasonable parental requirements.<br><br>I will not be enrolling my daughter at this centre, and I would not recommend it based on my experience. I hope senior management reviews this feedback and considers how a lack of flexibility and willingness to work with families can result in losing prospective enrolments.

You constantly question whether you’re making the right choice and hope you’re placing your most precious little person in the right hands. For us, Green Garden Childcare in Colebee has been nothing short of amazing.<br><br>From day one, Jess, the centre director, has gone above and beyond to accommodate us. Her attentiveness, communication and genuine willingness to help have made this transition so seamless and have put my mind at ease as a mum.<br><br>Josie, the room leader, alongside Narrow and Kavi, have been absolutely wonderful. The genuine love, patience and care they show the children is something truly special. You can see that they genuinely care about the little people entrusted to them, and that means everything as a parent.<br><br>In just two weeks, I have already witnessed such incredible growth and development in my son. I’m honestly amazed at how much he has blossomed in such a short time!<br><br>Even before enrolling, we had heard wonderful recommendations about this centre, and now I completely understand why. My mum was even told by a stranger at the park that they couldn’t recommend Green Garden Childcare highly enough!<br><br>I cannot recommend this centre enough. If you’re an anxious mum like me, looking for somewhere your child will be genuinely loved, nurtured and supported, this team is truly special. Thank you, Jess, Josie, Narrow and Kavi, for everything you do. You have made such a difference to both my son and me, and I am beyond grateful. ❤️

We’ve had a great experience with this Green Garden Childcare Colebee. The team has been very supportive in helping our toddler settle in, and we’ve really appreciated their care, communication, and patience throughout the transition. It’s lovely to see our little one feeling comfortable and happy each day!

Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Green Garden Colebee. We’ve had a few family members attend over the years, and both of our children who have attended settled in quickly. The educators are fantastic — caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children. They helped our son build confidence and prepared him so well for his first day of kindergarten. Communication has always been excellent, with email responses being quick and prompt whenever we needed anything. We truly couldn’t be happier with the care and support our children have received. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Green Garden Colebee to any family.

We are so grateful for the love and care our daughter received at Green Garden Childcare Colebee, and for the continued support our son is still receiving as he continues his journey there. The teachers are genuinely kind, nurturing and deeply invested in the children. It truly takes a village, and Green Garden is a beautiful part of ours. The leadership under Ms Jess and Tara is exceptional. Their warmth, dedication and passion created such a positive and supportive environment for both our children and us as parents. Our daughter grew so much during her time there, and seeing her graduate preschool and start kindergarten, today with confidence means everything to us. We feel so blessed to have found a centre that cares so deeply about our children and their holistic development.

An absolutely lovely centre with staff that genuinely care for the children’s wellbeing. The outdoor facilities are fantastic and the children are always doing fun and educational activities. Highly recommend this centre to anyone considering.

Amazing centre, with amazing staff! My children love going to daycare. We travel 30 minutes to attend Green Garden Childcare Colebee, I wouldn’t put my kids anywhere else. I recommend GGCC to all my friends and family!
