We are a warm and welcoming place where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn. Our five learning studios are designed to encourage play, discovery and creativity every day.
Our centre philosophy follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired pproach, where children learn through play and exploration. Every child is unique and capable, and we partner with families to support their growth and wellbeing.
We are proud to offer a Queensland Government Approved Free Kindy program helping children build confidence, independence and a love of learning as they prepare for school.
Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program offers flexible support before and after school care, as well as vacation care during holidays.
To support busy families, we provide a community bus and a home pick-up and drop-off service. Children over 3 can also enjoy weekly swimming lessons with qualified instructors.
We value strong community connections. With monthly intergenerational visits to a local aged care home, building friendships and learning from older generations. We also explore our local area through regular outings that build confidence and communication skills.
Our sustainability program helps children learn to care for the world around them. Through hands-on experiences they develop a strong connection to nature. Our centre pets also play a special role in teaching responsibility and kindness.
At Charters Towers Kids ELC, we believe it takes a village to raise a child. We’d love to be part of yours.
