the safety and wellbeing of children are not being prioritised to the standard that families should reasonably expect from an early childhood education and care service at Green Leaves North Shore.

The handling of safety incidents and the response from management have been inadequate and demonstrated a concerning lack of accountability. Child safety must always be the highest priority, and services have a responsibility to ensure staff are appropriately trained, follow established safety procedures, and respond to incidents promptly, transparently, and professionally, as well as reporting incidents to the relevant departments.

Given the seriousness of these concerns, a review and visit by the relevant regulatory authorities would not be a surprise. I encourage families to make informed decisions and hope appropriate action is taken to protect the wellbeing of every child attending this service.

I left this centre with deep concerns about how child safety concerns are responded to. I was disappointed by the lack of communication, transparency and meaningful action after raising a serious concern. Families deserve to feel confident that child safety is always the highest priority.

Greenleaves Northshore Central Childcare presents well, with modern facilities and a range of resources. However, there are concerns that the centre places greater emphasis on its physical environment than on prioritising children's wellbeing and safety.

There have been concerns raised regarding the adequacy of supervision, with questions about whether appropriate measures are consistently in place to ensure children's safety. When these concerns have been brought to management's attention, communication has been perceived as limited, and responses have not always provided reassurance that the issues were being thoroughly addressed.

Families expect a childcare service to place children's safety and wellbeing above all else. Greater transparency, stronger communication, and a more proactive approach to responding to safety concerns would help build confidence and trust in the centre's practices.

Deeply concerning child safety issues are not addressed at this centre. I would never consider sending my child to any green leaves centre, but especially this one.

Since starting at Green Leaves North Shore Central earlier this year, our family has felt so welcomed and supported. Moving children into a new daycare can be a big adjustment, but the educators and staff have made the transition such a positive experience for both our children and us as parents. The educators are kind, patient, and genuinely caring, and we’ve really appreciated how accommodating they are to each child’s individual needs and personality. It’s clear they take the time to get to know every child and create a safe, nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable and confident. One of the standout qualities of the centre is the communication. The management and administration teams are approachable, responsive, and genuinely care about our concerns. It’s reassuring knowing there is always open communication. The centre itself is beautifully maintained, always clean and organised, with plenty of engaging activities, and play equipment. The healthy homemade meals are also a wonderful bonus and something our children really enjoy. We’re so happy with our experience and highly recommend Green Leaves North Shore Central to any family.
