We couldn’t be happier with our son’s kinder experience. Since the new management has taken over, we have noticed such a positive change, and the kinder program has been absolutely wonderful.<br><br>Our son absolutely loves going to kinder and looks forward to every day We have seen him grow so much, not only academically, but also emotionally and socially. He has gained confidence, become more independent, developed new skills and is now feeling so much more prepared and ready for school.<br><br>The educators have been incredibly caring, supportive and encouraging, and it’s been beautiful watching our son flourish in such a positive and nurturing environment.<br>We are so grateful to the new management and the entire kinder team for all the effort they put into creating such a great program and making the children feel happy, safe and supported.<br>We would highly recommend this kinder to any family.It has been wonderful seeing how much our son has grown and how much he genuinely enjoys being there.

Both my children attend, I have been very happy with the service and care provided. I would not consider somewhere else. My daughter has been there since almost 1 years old first baby’s class and next year finishes and attending the Mount Hira School. Highly recommend

My son started attending Mt Hira when he was just 8 months old. As a first-time mum, leaving my son at childcare was incredibly difficult and emotional for me. Teacher Vagira turned all my worries into happiness and gave me confidence that my son was in caring and capable hands. When he transitioned to another room, I was once again supported by the wonderful teachers, especially Rania, Gülşah, and the rest of the team, who made the change smooth and comfortable for both my son and me. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Afshan and Shazia for their dedication, care, and commitment to providing the children with the best possible education and support. I have complete confidence that my child is happy, safe, and well cared for at Mt Hira. It is reassuring to know that he is in an environment where he is nurtured, encouraged, and supported every day. Thank you to each and every staff member for the incredible work you do and for the genuine care you show to our little ones. Your dedication makes a real difference, and we are truly grateful to be part of the Mt Hira community.

Mt Hira ELC educators are lazy and couldn’t care less about the kids who attend. They are money hungry and severely judgmental. Kids who have learning difficulties, developmental delay and/or speech delays are not welcome here. Kids who act like kids are not welcome here. This ELC expect kids to act and listen like adults. Any kinder who think it’s fine not to take a child to a weekly incursion (which they have attended weekly since they started) and leaving them behind because they can’t be bothered “dealing with him” are completely and utterly absurd. They cram 33 children into a room and expect every one of them to be on their best behaviours. They Allocate new or unfamiliar educators into the classroom and expect children to be comfortable right away. A few incidents happen where my son was hurt, they would downplay how bad it was “his lip bleed only a little bit” and he came home to a massive purple fat lip. “He feel over a truck outside, but nothing serious” but came home with a bruised eye. Sent an email to exit my son, they removed future scheduled days but I received no email back nor did I get a call. Pathetic.

I beg you beware of your kids safety!!! My child was hurt by an educator in toddler 2 room. She was coming home with ongoing bruising and hurt, on a Friday afternoon I received yet another call that she had a blood noise after the 4th call in one week she was injured I didn’t believe them anymore. I asked the director of the day care to show me the footage on how she got a hurt as none of the stories they told me made any sense. Whilst looking for this footage on how she got hurt we came across a footage of my child been physically hurt by an educator it was not only my child but another little boy who was left on the toilet floor to cry. I advised the director of the ELC that I will be recording this she gave me permission to record the footage. Which is also on the recording now I’m being bullied with lawyers to not share and or show this to anyone and if that’s the case they are going to take legal action!’ Well here is my response to you in your threat email to respond by the 13th with confirmation I deleted these footage - I don’t do well with threats ! You had a duty of care to children your ELC director has made it every clear that there is always ongoing issues and that she can’t even work there anymore as there are no safety guileless followed The ELC director has also advised me that that this educator has been going through personal issues at home hence the reason I can assure you I have now started the process for criminal action along side, work safe and department of education. If you want to bully me anymore with your letter I will also now be taking legal action for harassment. You haven’t done anything to protect my child from harm - yet your letter advises it’s to protect privacy of other children yes because your worried about your reputation Our kids matter ! Even though you may think this is a money making business !!!

My son has been attending this ELC for the past 2.5 years. It’s been great for him, he thoroughly enjoys attending and has formed some great friendships. My daughter has also recently started and she loves it. The facilities are 5 star, the education is great. The educators/staff are amazing.

Mt Hira College ELC is a newly established childcare facility that caters for all children of all ethnicity and religious backgrounds to learn and play inside and outside the classrooms. Everything here is brand new. Claire and Oya are friendly and approachable. If they are not around, you can always send them an email! The communication through Xplor App is great. We get live updates on what our child is up to throughout the day e.g. meal times, naps, nappy change etc. With any businesses that have opened up during the pandemic, I think the ELC team are doing the best they can. Sure there are still some teething issues like trying to get paperwork sorted to get the CCS (probably more a centrelink issue really) and it took a while to get our passcode to get in by ourselves (I like that they are working on having individualised passcode for different families). I am sure we will get there eventually. The educators genuinely wants to get to know our child and are happy for our child's progress and development. The centre is just so convenient for us, any of the existing centres nearby are not as nice and are all fully booked with unrealistic waitlists. We are just so glad our family got the childcare assistance from the ELC team when we needed it. The added exposure to multiculturalism, spreading kindness and not hate are teachings that I want my child to learn at Mount Hira College ELC. Thank you Claire and ELC team!

I am absolutely appalled at the recent changes occurring in the ELC center. As a parent who has 2 children enrolled, I can tell you that I was very happy in the beginning and would have given 5 stars not long ago. But with recent decisions that may be a result of internal politics, sadly our children are the fodder in this power play. Amazing teachers are resigning, their replacements are less than suitable and are poor substitutes for the standards that were set before them, and the amount of upheaval and changes that have occurred MID YEAR is very unacceptable. The amount of discourse and confusion caused has had direct effects on our little ones - who should be given top priority and stability during such integral years. Instead, they have been subjected to more changes than ever and are given the disservice of losing amazing educators because the school is unable to retain them. Would I recommend this school? The short answer is no, I would not. It seems private school Politics have won in this institution - which is the biggest disappointment of all.
