I cannot speak highly enough of The Little Village Vaucluse. What makes this centre so special is its incredibly human and individual approach to each child and family. It genuinely feels less like a childcare centre and more like a little community and a second home.<br><br>My daughter first started here at just 11 months old, so the educators have been part of her life from such an early and important stage. We had a six month hiatus when the centre was sold and temporarily came under different direction, during which time I moved her to another centre. When The Little Village returned under its current leadership, bringing her back was the easiest decision. The sense of relief, for both me and my daughter, was immediate. It truly felt like coming home.<br><br>The staff are simply incredible. They are warm, dedicated, committed and genuinely invested in the children they care for. There is also a wonderful consistency within the team, which makes such a difference in creating a secure and familiar environment for the children. This starts with the incredibly experienced Director, Annette, whose warmth, knowledge and personal approach are reflected throughout the entire centre.<br><br>There is a beautiful homely feel to The Little Village that is difficult to replicate. Children are known as individuals, their personalities are understood, and you always feel that the people caring for them genuinely know and love what makes each child unique.<br><br>I also love the centre’s Montessori inspired approach and the wonderful programs that encourage independence and practical, real life skills. There is so much thought behind the activities and experiences offered, and you can see how naturally they support the children’s confidence, curiosity and development.<br><br>Finding somewhere you completely trust with your child is incredibly important, and our experience here has been so personal and positive. We have experienced another centre, which only reinforced for us just how special The Little Village Vaucluse really is.<br><br>We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this little village and could not recommend it more highly.

We are so lucky to be a part of the VLS community! Annette, Georgia and the team are such wonderful teachers. My daughter has learned so much in the few months she’s been there. It is such a relief to leave your child in the care of educators you trust.<br><br>VLS is a small, close-knot school where the older kids look after the younger kids. The team have fostered a nurturing environment where the children are encouraged to play, explore, and be kind to one another.

We couldn't recommend The Little Village in Vaucluse highly enough. From day one, Annette and the whole team have been absolutely fantastic, genuinely warm, attentive, and helpful every step of the way. Our son Sully absolutely loves it there, and as parents there's no better feeling than dropping him off knowing he's happy, safe, and cared for.<br><br>The team goes above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where the kids clearly thrive. Sully has grown so much in confidence and always comes home full of stories about his day. Love this centre, I love how small it is and how all of the children have such individualised care. My husband and I don’t have any support outside of daycare so very often we ask the educators for advice unrelated to daycare but still related to parenting and they’re always very happy to assist. Have helped with bottle weaning, potty training and general toddler tantrums.<br>The director is incredible and if we can stay here until school we will.

I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve gained during this time, and I’m coming back feeling inspired and ready to continue supporting the learning journeys of our children aged 1–5 years. We highly recommend Vaucluse Little School. Annette and her team run a wonderful centre, we are so happy with our choice. All of the staff are so warm and caring, it is exactly what we wanted, and the play, friends, and learning is exactly what our daughter needed. Initially we were really worried about sending our daughter to childcare, but our daughter settled in so quickly, thanks to the care and effort of the staff. Our daughter says bye-bye in the morning with no tears or apprehension; she loves going to school, and asks us all of the time when she is going next.

Our daughter loves going to Vaucluse Little School! The teachers are so caring and really get to know each child. It’s such a warm, friendly place, and I can be very relaxed knowing they are looking after her while I’m busy with life or working. They have helped her to grow so much in confidence and happiness since starting there. I’m very grateful for them what they are offering and for existing in our life!

My daughter attends Vaucluse little school and my son is set to enroll in the next few months. Annette and the team are more than just day care/early education - they feel more like an extension of our family. One of the team actually attended the school as a child, which should speak volumes about the continuity and consistency at VLS. My son has attended Vaucluse Little School for 2.5 years, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Having experienced other daycares with my older children, I can confidently say the care my son has received here is second to none. The staff at Vaucluse Little School have been there for many years, a true testament to how well the daycare is run. My son, who is very much a mama's boy, is always happy to attend each day and often comes home excitedly talking about how much he loves Annette, Mowana, Melissa, and Georgia. There is always a sense of calm whenever I pick him up, which is incredibly reassuring. They do fun activities with the kids like Easter hat parades and Christmas concerts, and they have special guests coming in to speak with the kids about bugs, animals, and recycling. We receive daily photos of the kids, which show just how happy they are and provide a wonderful glimpse into their day. Being a Montessori school, Vaucluse Little School encourages learning through interest and fosters independence. You can tell the educators love what they do, and it makes a world of difference. I couldn't be happier with the nurturing and educational environment they provide.
