Dear families, After five months away, I’m so excited to be returning to my little village at Vaucluse. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve gained during this time, and I’m coming back feeling inspired and ready to continue supporting the learning journeys of our children aged 1–5 years. Early childhood is such a special and important stage — a time for curiosity, discovery, and building strong foundations through play, relationships, and meaningful experiences. I’m especially excited to be returning alongside my fabulous educator, as we work together to create a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive Looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new ones as we continue this beautiful journey of learning together.

We highly recommend Vaucluse Little School. Annette and her team run a wonderful centre, we are so happy with our choice. All of the staff are so warm and caring, it is exactly what we wanted, and the play, friends, and learning is exactly what our daughter needed. Initially we were really worried about sending our daughter to childcare, but our daughter settled in so quickly, thanks to the care and effort of the staff. Our daughter says bye-bye in the morning with no tears or apprehension; she loves going to school, and asks us all of the time when she is going next.

Our daughter loves going to Vaucluse Little School! The teachers are so caring and really get to know each child. It’s such a warm, friendly place, and I can be very relaxed knowing they are looking after her while I’m busy with life or working. They have helped her to grow so much in confidence and happiness since starting there. I’m very grateful for them what they are offering and for existing in our life!

My daughter attends Vaucluse little school and my son is set to enroll in the next few months. Annette and the team are more than just day care/early education - they feel more like an extension of our family. One of the team actually attended the school as a child, which should speak volumes about the continuity and consistency at VLS. Our daughter loves school and she has developed brilliantly during her time there. I'm often surprised with the things she's learned between drop off and pick up on the same day. Cannot speak too highly of this incredible little school and the awesome team that run it.

Our daughter has been attending Vaucluse Little School for the past 18 months, and I can't put into words how grateful we are for the love and care she has received here. If we weren’t moving from the city, we would never have left—this place has felt like a second home for her. From the very beginning, the educators have been warm, attentive, and incredibly nurturing. They didn’t just look after our daughter—they really knew her: her love of yoga, her fascination with flags, and even her obsession with dinosaurs. What really stood out to us was the way that Vaucluse Little School fostered such a sense of community. The educators genuinely care not just about the children, but also about the families—they made us feel included and supported every step of the way. We are so sad to be leaving VLS, but we know that the memories and experiences she had here will stay with her (and us!) for a long time to come. We can’t recommend VLS enough—it’s more than just a daycare, it became an extension of our leaving. My son has attended Vaucluse Little School for 2.5 years, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Having experienced other daycares with my older children, I can confidently say the care my son has received here is second to none. The staff at Vaucluse Little School have been there for many years, a true testament to how well the daycare is run. My son, who is very much a mama's boy, is always happy to attend each day and often comes home excitedly talking about how much he loves Annette, Mowana, Melissa, and Georgia. There is always a sense of calm whenever I pick him up, which is incredibly reassuring. They do fun activities with the kids like Easter hat parades and Christmas concerts, and they have special guests coming in to speak with the kids about bugs, animals, and recycling. We receive daily photos of the kids, which show just how happy they are and provide a wonderful glimpse into their day. Being a Montessori school, Vaucluse Little School encourages learning through interest and fosters independence. You can tell the educators love what they do, and it makes a world of difference. I couldn't be happier with the nurturing and educational environment they provide. If you're looking for a daycare that genuinely cares about your child's development and happiness, Vaucluse Little School is the place to be!

So happy we’ve found this little gem. The educators are brilliant and probably some of the most experienced in the whole of the Eastern suburbs. They put together an excellent and varied program of learning through play, cultivate fantastic social skills and are genuinely interested in the development of the kids. We love the daily updates on what they have been up to. Our toddler has absolutely adored going here from day one - she runs up the path when we arrive and rarely even says goodbye to us, she’s so happy to be there. Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough. Am just so grateful to have this place act as a substitute extended family for us and our daughter.

I highly recommend Vaucluse Little School. The educators are the best (this is our third daycare) and they genuinely care for the children. Staff turnover is non-existent, which is telling in itself. The Montessori activities keep the children engaged and learning every day. Communication is very strong with plenty of notice provided for upcoming activities (Harmony Week/Easter Hat parade), and my son’s development and daily activities are well detailed via the Storypark app. We love Little School!

I would highly recommend VLS to any parents looking for a warm, welcoming, nurturing place for their children. Every child is special at VLS. I felt like I was dropping our little fellow off with family each morning. He loved it, and got so much out of being there - socially and intellectually. All the staff are highly dedicated and happy in their roles, and very responsive to both children and parents.

Both our kids went to Little School, it is a place where kids feel safe and are welcome to explore the world guided by beautiful and loving teachers. Very much recommended!!
