We absolutely adore The Learning Space. The educators are so kind, caring and enthusiastic about the children and always give plenty of updates on their day. The centre itself is clean, beautifully curated and full of open ended activities and play areas for the kids. I love how cloth nappies are used and many other eco friendly practices are in place helping to inspire children to learn about and look after their environment. And last but certainly not least, Emma who runs The Learning Space is wonderful! Always happy to answer questions and chat about the centre and really cares about all the children and families there.

We feel so lucky to have found the Learning Space, and have had the most wonderful experience. The educators are incredibly attentive and supportive, helping to bring the best out in the children. It’s a small centre and the care feels very personalised and tailored for each child. The program is excellent, and the centre is socially, environmentally and community minded. The space is great and outdoor play is embraced, which is perfect for our little explorer. Our child absolutely loves coming to “school”, and feels very loved and safe. Communication with Emma is always great. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Honestly the best team of people. They care so genuinely for the children, design learning experiences around children's interests and adapt rather than create rigid activities. They have taught so many life skills to my little one and encouraged her individuality. They have always known when my child needed medical care and notified me immediately. The learning space have been flexible around our family's needs in everything. My child's teachers have given me such high expectations of good childcare that I can never ever leave 🤣

I can't believe I'm even giving a star. I dont like being negative about peoples businesses however I am appaled. This is an honest review about the experience at the centre. Some of the staff are great with good intentions. However, that's where it stops. My son was repeatedly smacked and bitten on numerous occasions by another child and the staff put it down to "the culture of the centre" at the moment After numerous meetings by phone and in person with the centre, apparently, this child was put on a behavoural management plan where they were closely monitored to report back to their parents constantly following yet another incident and during this time, on a number of different ocassions managed to hit my son, push him around and even smack with a stick leaving him screaming in the playground while 2 educators watched on. The staff confirmed that my son never provoked this behaviour and is infact a child who doesnt like conflict and has never retaliated. The director, Emma, puts on a great facade about their policies surrounding this matter, however, was more interested in protecting the child and the family who were the attackers when I decided the only way to resolve the matter, was to discuss the issue with his parents directly, as the centre was absolutely useless in dealing with the problem. Upon the request to discuss this with his parents, Emma used the excuse that I came across with a threatening attitude and did not allow the other parents to attend a meeting about their child's repetitively terrible behaviour. It got so bad that we left the centre 2 weeks ago and didn't even get a phone call with an explanation, let alone an apology. My child is left traumatised and scared to play with children because this centre believe it's OK to have children attend that act in such a way with one another. If you care for your child's well-being, stay away from this place. Emma, I hope this gives you some good feedback about how someone would look at this circumstance as I've left nothing out and been totally transparent. You agreed with my concerns and advised you're a parent too and would react with the same concern if this ever happened to you, however you chose to do nothing about it, and were also very overt about doing nothing, which makes it so much worse. We wish you nothing but the best however you have let us down tremendously

I did the tour today i have enrolled my 3 yr old he hasnt even started yet and i wish it was me going instead of him!! The moment i walked through those doors of the kinder room my heart felt at ease. The setting is so ZEN and relaxing a few kids were sleeping and i just wanted a bed of my own to lay down and join in on the peaceful environment. Alot of nature play encouragement and less materialistic things which i LOVE me and my family are all about nature outdoors and sustainability which is one of their focuses also. Ive been using up my week doing tours at about 6 different childcares in Coburg and have not yet come across such smiley kind faces, they seemed very interactive with the kids and looked like they actually enjoyed doing their jobs. I seriously cannot wait for my son to start he is going to LOVE it. Great job Emma!

We love the Learning Space! Our two year old has been attending for almost a year and genuinely gets excited to go. We are constantly amazed by how creative and dedicated the educators are at creating fun and interesting learning experiences for the kids. Plus I'm often jealous of all the gourmet food.

We are so happy to have found TLS. The director/owner Emma is wonderful and the staff are always happy and genuinely love children. The kindergarten teacher Emily plans an engaging inquiry based kinder program . My daughter loves writing and reading more now. The food is amazing! Gourmet all the way and so fresh and healthy - no processed food. The kids are also involved in growing, preparing and cooking their own meals. They have recently got 6 baby chickens and my daughter loves watching them grow and petting them. I cannot fault The Learning Space and feel blessed we found this unique and progressive centre.

This is a wonderful centre. Beautiful space, fantastic staff, incredible food with a kitchen garden approach. The educators design really intentional learning experiences for the kids that connects them with food, nature, culture and emotions. Our little one loves going there. Highly recommended!

We love The Learning Space! The Educators are amazing, Centre Manager is fab and really responsive. The program is awesome - loads of sensory play, a full kitchen garden which the kids help to cook from daily, messy play, conceptual play and excursions in the local community. Not a big centre which also makes it a great little community - we feel so lucky to have sent our kids here.
