Despite the beautiful and modern facilities, our experience at this center has been very disappointing. After four months, many educators still did not know my child’s name, which made us feel a real lack of personal care and connection. The classrooms feel crowded, and on several occasions I picked up my daughter with her clothes put on incorrectly or upside down, which raised concerns about attention to detail. On top of this, we were often faced with unexpected extra charges each week, which were not clearly communicated upfront. Unfortunately, the quality of care did not match the appearance of the center, and we ultimately felt it was not the right environment for our child. Also I will add that the many many many previous 5 stars reviews were part of a competition where you had to give 5 stars to enter the competition, they are not honest reviews. Too much marketing, not enough care.

Cool beans is the best childcare centre on the Gold Coast by far. We travel 20 minutes from Broadbeach Waters to come here because of the size of the classrooms the huge outdoor space and the kind attentive carers. If my daughter or any of the other kids is struggling with drop off there is always someone there to give the child one on one attention. I couldn’t be happier with this centre

I cannot speak highly enough of this daycare centre. As a parent of an autistic child with minimal speech, trusting others with the care of my son is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do but the incredible educators and staff here have made that process so much easier. My son is thriving in a mainstream room with outstanding support from both the educators - Kate, Magda, Kym, Svenja and their phenomenal inclusion support worker, Adelaide. Their dedication, patience, and genuine care for my son’s individual needs have been nothing short of amazing. The management team - specifically Rikki, Steph & Taylah always go above and beyond, not only for my son but for me personally. Their kindness, understanding, and unwavering support have meant the world to our family. I feel a deep sense of trust knowing my son is in safe, capable, and compassionate hands every day. This centre has been life changing for us and I’m beyond grateful for the love and care they show our little boy. I will be so sad when our journey at Kool Beanz comes to an end. Highly recommend to any family looking for a truly inclusive, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the mainstream childcare program appeared adequate, the Supportive Care rooms were severely lacking in the expertise, structure, and understanding required to support autistic and neurodivergent children. Despite repeated assurances, staff were ill-equipped and undertrained, leaving vulnerable children without the critical support they deserved. Leadership failed to implement meaningful changes, external professionals were either disregarded or faced conflicts of interest, and the advertised partnership with Autism QLD was misleading. My child, who required a nurturing and specialised approach, was often sent home instead of being given the opportunity to thrive through proper intervention tailored to his neurodivergent needs. The only exception was Katy and Ebony, who were absolute superstars. Their patience, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond were truly remarkable, but they lacked the support and resources from the centre to provide the level of care that neurodivergent children desperately need. Without proper leadership and investment in specialised support, even the most committed educators are left struggling to do what’s necessary. Given these alarming circumstances, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this daycare to any parent—whether their child requires neurodivergent-specific care or not—especially while it remains under its current leadership. A truly supportive environment embraces the diverse needs of autistic and neurodivergent children and provides structured, compassionate care that fosters growth and development. Sadly, this centre fell short in every aspect. I urge parents to thoroughly explore alternative options before entrusting their child’s well-being to this establishment. It’s also worth noting that the centre incentivises positive reviews by running raffles and prizes for parents who leave them—so don’t believe everything you read here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our daughter just graduated from Kool Beanz - Suns in Carrara, and we can't express enough how amazing this centre is! Our only regret is not joining sooner — we wish she had spent all her day care days here. This place is truly a Disneyland for kindy kids — there's always something exciting to do, and boredom is simply not an option. Our daughter loved it so much that she never wanted to come home! Throughout our time here, the educators were incredible. Special shout out to Miss Sarah, Miss Michelle, and Miss Nat for their dedication and care. In her final year, Miss Sarah helped her learn so much and get ready for big school — and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to all the staff at Kool Beanz for giving us the best kindy experience ever! ❤️

I feel so fortunate to be able to send my son to Kool Beanz Suns at Carrara. I don’t feel mum-guilt about enjoying my day at work, because I know that my son is well taken care of and having so much fun at daycare! The staff are excellent - they take lots of photos during the day and always touch base at pick up to say how our son’s day went. They have gone from being strangers to people I trust, who love my child (and he loves them, and that in itself speaks volumes). I like that the room is covered with the children’s artwork - I’m sure my son feels a strong sense of belonging to the space. I’m also impressed with the extra things that the children get the opportunity to do every day - my son would be stoked with just getting to play in the amazing space all day, but he is also spoilt with a planned activity every day eg a sensory tray, Japanese lesson or art activity. He is one lucky boy!!!

My son has been going here now for the past 12 months since they opened. Fantastic centre, with great teachers and staff. Everyone is so passionate, its amazing. Facilities are amazing too, library, lego room, chickens, bird aviary, playground, grass area, trampoline, bikes to ride etc, the list goes on.

Very warm, friendly, accommodating & kind to us and our daughter.  Truly gives us a peace of mind that our  little one receives the best possible care. Thank you to her educators especially, miss Terri, Miss Bryony, Mr Carl, Miss Sarah, Miss Chie, Miss Steph, Miss Tahlia, Miss Amelia and Miss Nat for taking such good care of Laynana and her classmates. I cannot recommend Kool Beanz SUNS more highly. It is clear that all the kids feel' safe and supported at the centre and the communication with us parents is second to none. Keep up the great work team.

The activities she does during the week are fantastic, they are always learning, playing and I can’t forget to mention all the wonderful art projects they do. She has really learned a lot , lot faster with her vocabs and numerals + sign language / songs and dances. We could not recommend Cool Beanz SUNZ more highly. It is clear our Lana feel safe and supported at the centre and the communication with us parents is second to none. Again - Awesome caring staff with great convenient location.
