Not sure why this daycare has so many similar 5-star reviews, because my experience was quite different. I personally wouldn’t recommend this centre. I was also disappointed with the director, as I felt there were different standards for different situations.

Enrolled FamilyAs a parent, I noticed a few operational details during lunch and nap pickups that raised concerns for me. Combined with a lack of supportive communication from the director, we decided to transition our child elsewhere. I’d recommend other parents tour a few local options before making a decision.

I can’t say enough about how happy we are with Watson Centre. My child genuinely looks forward to coming to the centre every day, which means so much to us as parents.<br>The staff are always friendly, caring and welcoming, and the facilities are excellent. We are very grateful for the wonderful environment and care that Watson Centre provides for our child.

I live in the apartment above this daycare and have frequently heard staff speaking to the children in a very loud and harsh tone in the play yard. I raised my concerns with the director and asked that staff use a gentler approach, but unfortunately, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. Very disappointing.

Over the past year, we have been intentionally transforming our practice through the implementation of Floorbooks and Slow Pedagogy, shifting our focus towards deeper listening, meaningful relationships, genuine child-led inquiry, and giving children the time and space to explore, wonder and revisit their learning.
