We’ve had a really positive experience with Story House Doreen. It’s a very welcoming centre and the educators build genuine relationships with the children and families. There is a strong sense of community within the centre and connection to the local community through excursions. We love their play based approach and the way the children’s interests and ideas are used to guide their learning.

As an educator myself, it is extremely clear to see that both of my children’s needs are consistently met in all aspects of their growth. From their social capabilities, to their learning jcapabilities, educators consistently and clearly communicate what our children have been up to throughout the week, linking this to the Early Years framework.<br><br>To add to this, I have never met an educator there who is not happy to talk to the parents and who put on the biggest smiles when our children arrive in the morning.<br><br>This is our fourth year of attending Story House with two children now attending. We have since had the opportunity to move to alternate centres closer to our residence but the excitement that our children have to go to childcare, the smiles on their faces we can see through the windows when we drop them off and the stories they tell of the fun and care they have during their time tells us that they are exactly where they need to be.<br><br>A shoutout to all staff at the centre who go above and beyond for all children, every day. It’s often a thankless job, but is one of the most important.

My two toddlers attend this centre after having attended a few other centres. This is by far the best centre, the food is great ( sometimes we are lucky enough to get some sent home) the staff are patient and understanding of my kids needs, lots of excursions and fun activities on site. The centre is massive with a large outdoor area.

When we first attended on a tour, I immediately felt a familiarity to the Centre as I got a whiff of the scent in the air, which took me back to my childhood daycare days!<br>The team have been incredible from admin/management to educators. Our concerns are always attended to and the team is very receptive to our feedback + preferences. They’ve made the adjustment to childcare easy. We feel confident that our child is being loved and looked after well at Story House Doreen. Thanks team!

As a parent who has had children at this centre for the past four years, I am incredibly impressed with the consistency of care and the professional management of the facility. The educators go above and beyond to support the children’s development and well-being. It is a warm, welcoming environment where our boys feel safe and loved. I am extremely happy with the care my child receives at Story House Doreen . The educators are warm, patient, and genuinely dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children. My son always comes home happy. The centre provides a wonderful balance of learning and play. The activities are engaging, creative, and clearly designed to support each child’s development and curiosity. I also really appreciate how the staff communicate regularly with parents and keep me updated about my child’s progress. The facilities are clean, well-organized, and welcoming, which gives me great peace of mind. It’s clear that the team truly cares about the wellbeing and growth of every child. Story House is a fantastic kinder. Our son previously had issues with other places in the area but since attending Story House he’s doing much better. This kinder is a safe and positive environment for neurodivergent kids. All the educators are enthusiastic about doing their work and it reflects in how well the kids are looked after. Jodie is very approachable and always happy to help. We would recommend Story House to anyone, especially parents with neurodivergent kids.
