Amazing environment in daisy lane learning<br>Well educated teachers and very friendly staff.<br>My son learns so many things and always happy to go daisy lane. We couldn't be happier with the care and support our child has received at this daycare centre. They create a safe, warm and engaging environment where children and learn, play and build confidence every day.<br><br>The communication with families is excellent and it's always reassuring to receive updates and see how much our child is learning and enjoying their time there. It's clear the staff put a lot of thought and care into the activities they provide, helping children to develop socially, emotionally and academically.<br><br>We are so grateful for the wonderful team and highly recommend this childcare centre to any family looking for a caring, professional and nurturing place for their child.

Our girls seem to love it here. The class rooms are well laid out and everything is centred around play and working together with their peers. The girls get to eat a wide variety of foods. There are weekly activities for this like safety and physical education and cooking.

I have two children enrolled at Daisy Lane Early Learning, and their happiness and wellbeing are my highest priority. I have been extremely pleased with the level of support, care, and communication provided by both the management team and staff throughout my children’s transition into the centre. Their professionalism and dedication have made the settling-in process a very positive experience for both my children and our family.

I had the pleasure of completing my placement at Daisy Lane Early Learning, and it was truly one of the best learning experiences I’ve had.<br>The manager is incredibly supportive and welcoming. From the beginning, she made me feel comfortable, introduced me to all the educators and rooms, and ensured I was settled in. She also guided my placement journey, making sure I was supported with my logbook and learning goals, and encouraged the team to be there for me throughout my training.<br>Secondly, the educators and lead educators are absolutely amazing. Throughout every part of my training, they were always willing to help, guide, and teach me. They took time to explain everything clearly — from daily routines to the safety and wellbeing of the children — and showed me both what to do and what not to do. I also gained valuable knowledge around child safety practices, which was very important for my learning. Their kindness, patience, and teamwork made such a big difference, and I felt truly supported every day.<br><br>Also, the children and the overall environment are beautiful to experience. The children are respectful, happy, and well-guided, which really reflects the quality of care and education they receive. You can clearly see how much effort the educators put into teaching and nurturing them. It’s easy to tell that children who attend this centre are well-prepared as they move on to primary school and beyond.<br>I am so grateful for everything I learned during my placement. I highly recommend Daisy Lane Early Learning to both families and students looking for a caring, supportive, and high-quality environment.

Disappointing First Day Experience<br><br>Our experience with Daisy Lane Early Learning Centre was extremely disappointing, and we decided to withdraw our 15-month-old daughter after just her first day.<br><br>As parents, especially on the very first day of childcare, we were already feeling emotional and overwhelmed about leaving our baby for the first time. Unfortunately, instead of feeling welcomed and supported, we felt uncomfortable from the moment we entered the centre.<br><br>The staff member assigned to our daughter appeared unprepared for the new admission and communicated in a rude and dismissive manner. Instead of helping us feel comfortable, questions were asked in a harsh tone such as, “What is in this bag?”, “Your baby will sleep at 11:30?”, and “She is so little.” There was very little effort made to build rapport with our daughter or reassure us as nervous first-time daycare parents.<br><br>My wife clearly mentioned multiple times that it was our daughter’s very first day and that she is usually a very social and outgoing baby. However, we did not feel supported or welcomed. When my wife asked whether she could stay a little longer to help settle our baby, she was told, “Maximum 10 minutes,” without empathy or understanding.<br><br>We also noticed concerning supervision issues. At one point, another toddler nearly hit our baby with a door, which made us feel the environment was unsafe and not properly attended, especially considering the small number of children present.<br><br>What upset us the most was the lack of communication throughout the day. When we called to check on our daughter after leaving, nobody answered initially. When my wife called again later, the centre manager answered in a rude tone and said, “Look, I am in a meeting,” without properly updating or reassuring us about our baby’s wellbeing.<br><br>We understand that adjusting to childcare can take time, but parents deserve kindness, communication, and support—especially on a child’s very first day. Sadly, our experience was the complete opposite. We did not feel welcomed, safe, or confident leaving our daughter there, so we made the decision not to continue with the centre.<br><br>We hope management takes feedback like this seriously and improves the way new families are welcomed and supported.
