My son was in the care of Sachiko for over 2 years (Aged 10 months-3 years) and he only moved on because it was time for him to go to pre-school. I can sincerely say she has won the heart of not only my son, but myself and my husband (and my own parents for that matter!). Sachiko has the rare gift of being able to provide deep authentic care, love and connection with children. I first met Sachiko over 10 years ago when my older daughter went to her for alternate care but she did not have space for her on a regular slot. I knew though, that should I have another child I would want my baby to go to her! So I put my sons name down when I was only 16 weeks pregnant. And we feel very blessed that she has indeed been such a big part of my sons journey in his early years. Sachiko eludes such joy and enthusiasm in her role that my son quickly formed a strong bond with her and thoroughly enjoyed his time in her care. Sachiko is incredibly patient and nurturing and I have observed first hand her ability to remain calm with several children crying or needing attention all at the same time. Her service is a gold nugget in the world of child care. We feel truly grateful for all she has done for our son and we would not hesitate to recommend her to other families.

Our son loved going to Chiko’s family daycare. Chiko is so caring, kind and nurturing and clearly loves all her children. Chiko always kept us up to date about our son’s day and it was lovely to receive photos and texts about how he was doing. From the beginning he bonded with Chiko and it was obvious he felt comfortable at her home. Chiko encourages her small group of children to form friendships and care for each other. The environment is stimulating with lots of fun activities for the children. Chiko runs the best family daycare and we miss her!!

We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful care Chiko has provided for our son since he was just 6 months old until he turned 3. Watching him grow and thrive under her guidance has been such a joy. He always looked forward to his days with Chiko—those were his favorite! Chiko is caring, patient, and flexible, with a kind and attentive approach that made us feel confident leaving him in her hands. The love she has for what she does, and the children she looks after, truly shines through in everything she does. The variety of activities she offers, from games and music to creative artwork, has really helped him explore and develop his interests.

I cannot recommend Chiko’s services enough. Chiko has a genuine love of children. The environment given to the children in her care is set up so they can explore and learn at their own pace in a safe and happy environment. It becomes their second home. Chiko forms strong bonds with your children making drop offs seamless and easy. You are also updated throughout the day as to their progress. My children return home from Chiko’s having learned new things, completed crafts and eaten healthy food. My children look forward to attending Chiko’s and I choose to keep sending my children here for Family Daycare. If you are able to get a spot at Chikos you are very lucky!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Chiko. Not only she is caring & loving to the kids, but she is also a great communicator and accommodating person for the parents. She does great activities with kids according to their age, and always communicates with kindness with the children. I trust her 100% and would absolutely recommend her service.

My daughter Senna started her time in Chiko when she was 11 months. Since then Chiko's Daycare became her favourite place and Chiko became her favorite person on the planet! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Chiko's Daycare provided the professional care with full of fun and nurturing, supportive environment. Senna made great friends at Chiko's and she didn't want to go home at the end of each day! We were very lucky to have such a lovely place close to our home. I can tell all children at daycare loving Chiko so much and feel very secure and comfortable. I have had the pleasure of knowing Chiko.

I had both my children in Chiko's Daycare over a period of 3.5 years. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Lois started with Chiko when she was 11 months. We decided on family daycare because she was a very anxious child and at the time I didn't think a traditional bigger daycare would have worked for her. Chiko was such a nurturing, supportive, and caring person and Lois instantly formed a close bond with her. I have had the pleasure of watching Lois come out of her shell as a result of Chiko's gentle encouragement and loving guidance. I wholeheartedly believe that Lois is the thriving and confident girl she is today because of her time with Chiko. My son Fergus came along soon after, and it was a natural decision to send him with his sister to Chiko's. Fergus' personality is the very opposite to Lois and Chiko equally met his needs, providing him with the play and stimulation needed for a very active boy. It has been so lovely watching my two children play and learn together as siblings in a family environment. Something I don't feel would have been available to them in a bigger daycare. From the moment I met Chiko, I instantly knew she would be right for our family, and years later, we continue to treasure her.

Our son has been with Chicko for the last three years and she has been amazing. Chicko has always taken such good care of him, watching him grow from a 10 month old to almost 4 year old. She has helped him develop his confidence in himself, taught him new skills and done some beautiful craft activities. Chicko always keeps me up to date during the day with photos of the activities they are participating in. We will miss Chicko next year but will be returning with our new baby in 2022 and look forward to watching the new addition thrive at Chicko's Family Daycare:)

Our daughter attended Chiko's family day care for about 18 months and she loved every minute. Chiko creates such a caring and stimulating environment for the children that our daughter was always keen to attend and we were always confident that she was receiving exceptional care. We cannot recommend Chiko or her service more highly. We particularly loved the way that she valued or child as an individual and created a genuine bond with her. The daily updates kept us involved and were a real highlight. We are so grateful that we were lucky enough to secure a spot with Chiko, she made child care such a positive experience for us all.

Our son went to Chiko’s for two years and had such a wonderful time. He loved going and made some lovely little friends there. He slept well during the days and always raved about her yummy food - especially Chiko’s rice. Chiko always kept us up to date during the day with lovely messages and gorgeous photos and our son would come home with some incredible craft. Chiko supported us through our sons transitions such as toilet-training, losing the dummy and dropping his day sleeps so it was seamless for us. Her place is so peaceful, calm, organised, clean and tidy. She is incredibly reliable, very passionate and genuinely adores children. Anyone who can get into Chiko’s place is very lucky - she is a gem.
