When we first enrolled our child at this centre, we were truly impressed. The centre manager and staff were warm, supportive, and made us feel confident in the quality of care. Our child, who attended from 6 months to 2 years old, adored many of the educators.
Unfortunately, everything changed after the centre manager was replaced. The atmosphere became tense, and we often saw staff walking on eggshells. Despite our child’s loved for the educators, the new leadership created an environment that felt cold and uncomfortable.
Financially, we experienced pressure during a difficult time and were met with multiple, impersonal payment demand emails—even while we were actively communicating about the situation. The tone felt aggressive and lacking in empathy.
What was most distressing, however, was the behaviour of the new centre manager. Her interactions with us—and, from what we observed, with her staff—were condescending and dismissive. There was no accountability for her remarks or her approach, which felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. The way we were treated over payment issues was more stressful than dealing with a debt collector.
We ultimately chose to move our child to another care centre and paid the full balance. Never been happier.
We tried to leave this review months ago, but the option was unavailable at the time. It’s deeply concerning that someone in such a critical position of responsibility could make families and staff feel so unsupported. Sadly, this is not a centre I would recommend based on our experience.
