My son has been enrolled at Journey ELC Nightcliff since he was 8 months old. He has now been in 3 different learning environments.<br><br>The educators consistently share content of my son’s day on Storypark. I appreciate how much time and effort goes into planning and facilitating engaging learning experiences, and I know that posting photos can often become an afterthought in a busy, busy day. However, the updates are so thoughtful and detailed that I truly feel as though I am on the learning journey with my boy, even when we are apart.<br><br>The learning spaces look incredible. I find myself viewing the environment through both the eyes of a parent and the eyes of an educator. It is clear how much thought and intention has gone into creating such a welcoming, engaging but not in anyway overwhelming space. The children can see themselves reflected throughout the room in their artwork, the learning displays and the many photographs of their learning journey. My son’s room is truly centred around the children that make up the current Toddler class.<br><br>Each day I e are greeted and farewelled with such warmth. We feel genuinely welcomed by all staff—not just the educators who I know have previously taught my boy.<br><br>Each morning, Miss Art is incredibly kind and patient as my son takes a few moments to settle in. She always takes the time to ask him thoughtful, personal questions, reflecting the deep care she has for him and the respect she places on their relationship.<br><br>In the afternoons, Juliana provides such a detailed update about his day. When I am in the room helping him gather his belongings, I often hear her narrating the children’s play and describing what they are doing. It is wonderful to hear this rich vocabulary being modelled throughout the day, and I am so happy that my child is exposed to this daily.

We came to Journey after a very negative experience at another daycare with our 9-month-old, and the difference has been incredible. From the first phone call through to settling in, every interaction has been warm, supportive and professional. The educators are genuinely caring and take the time to build strong bonds with the children. Within a couple of weeks, our daughter went from having severe separation anxiety to happily engaging with staff across the centre. She now arrives and leaves with smiles, which is so reassuring for us as first-time parents. Thank you to the team at Journey Nightcliff. We’re so grateful to have found a centre where our child feels safe, happy and well cared for.

Our son attended from 10 months of age. He was always very happy to be dropped off and seemed to love the educators and we did too. The educators give just the right amount of updates to parents during the day - some cute photos every now and then and frequent routine updates, but you can tell they don’t spend all their time on their devices. The sprinklers in the play area are a big plus making it possible for outdoor play in the heat. The chef at Journey is phenomenal. Our son had complicated dietaries and the chef, Nasib, was always preparing him delicious, safe alternative foods. At first we had hesitations because of the mod grass and the carpark right there but now we would highly recommend!

My two children have been attending Journey Early Learning Centre Nightcliff for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the care they receive.The educators are warm, patient and genuinely treat each child as an individual. My son had a hard time adjusting at first, but the team, especially his ECT Miss Nadi, were incredibly accomodating and supportive, helping him settle at his own pace. My daughter is also very well cared for as she has progressed from Nursery1 to toddlers room, with staff who are always attentive and understanding. I'm very grateful and satisfied with the nurturing environment they provide

My child has been at this centre for 2 years, starting when he was 9 months old. We could not be happier with the centre or the educators. Our son loves attending and we feel very comfortable with the level of care he is receiving. All of the educators are so nurturing, respectful and genuinely care about the kids. They do fabulous activities and outings so he’s always engaged and excited. The centre director, Thushari, has done wonderful things building a great community and is always available to answer any questions parents might have. We’d highly recommend this centre.

We are incredibly happy with Journey nightcliff. The staff are kind, caring, and make everyday activities fun for the children. We always feel that our child is safe and supported, and we’re especially grateful for all the guidance they’ve provided as we navigated the childcare process. The center itself is new, fresh, and very clean, with excellent visibility across all areas—which gives us great peace of mind. We highly recommend this childcare to any family looking for a warm, professional, and welcoming environment.

As a first-time mum, leaving my baby with people I didn’t know was daunting – but Journey Early Learning quickly put my mind at ease. The educators care for him like their own, hygiene is excellent, and the director is always on the floor, going above and beyond for the children and families. I get courteous calls if anything happens, plus daily feedback on how his day’s been. The chef is amazing – I smell delicious, healthy meals before I even walk in – and there are always fun programs for the kids, as well as thoughtful touches for parents like free coffee mornings and grab-and-go breakfasts. It’s a friendly, welcoming place where I feel heard and have complete trust. My son is happy, has made friends, and loves going – and I’m so grateful we found this centre.

My child has been at Journey ELC for 5 months and I have been overjoyed to see them thriving in her new environment. The educators are wonderful, the facilities are beautiful and well maintained. What I value most is the consideration and openness that characterises my interactions with management and educators. No conversation is too hard and all feedback is welcome. The centre genuinely welcomes diversity and all family types and I feel at ease when at drop off which is everything. Thank you!!!

UPDATE I have been battling with this childcare for quite a while now trying to sort out fees. Today they charged me a further 1.8k even though I paid all my due fees without missing a single cent. When i addressed the 4 week leave period that i had to pay despite my child no longer being in care they “waived it” only to have me still pay for it and charge me more. Unless you enjoy being scammed out of your money i would not recommend using this childcare service. Great staff and wonderful place to send your little ones. Only issue is when you want to remove them from care. They have a clause that they don’t tell you about until you try to exit. You have to give 4 weeks notice to remove the child and even if the child is not there you must still pay the fee. I advise the staff my little one would not be there and they said too bad i still have to pay. I know they already have another child in their place. This is a horrible thing to do, and really makes me feel the company is double dipping. Yes childcare workers deserve more pay as they are literally angels on earth, but this is not the way to do it.

Genuinely caring staff. I like courtesy calls about my child if there’s anything out of the ordinary. Good and fresh meals for kids. Great facilities and nice durable toys. Nappies are provided. Education program is to the standards. Coffee at the drop offs is available too, sometimes some light breakfast for busy parents.
