About Kidz Galore City West Early Learning Centre

Kidz Galore Early Learning Centres have been setting the benchmark of exceptional childcare and education in Perth for 29 years. The prominent, original centre opened in North Perth in 1995, with four more centres in close proximity joining the group over the years. Kidz Galore is a trusted and locally owned childcare provider in Perth and is a hub for our local community, fostering lasting friendships among families. We value the importance of building strong relationships with our families and the wider community. We encourage open communication, collaboration, and involvement in our programs and activities.

Our dedicated team plays a vital role in creating a warm, nurturing and welcoming environment. Many of our educators have been with us for many years, returning to work with their own children after starting their families. We proudly cater to a diverse range of cultures and abilities, ensuring every child receives the highest level of care and education.

At Kidz Galore, we believe every child deserves a supportive and caring environment in which to thrive. Join our extended family and experience the Kidz Galore difference.

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

Our centre is a place where children’s voices are valued.  As educators we build responsive, trusting relationships with each child to create a strong sense of belonging. We encourage children to make their own choices and decisions and enable them to influence events in their world. We create and support strong relationships with families. We respect their views and encourage their input whilst continually maintaining warm and open relationships with them.

We take pride in our aesthetically beautiful environments where children can engage with nature within a play based learning environment. We believe routine is necessary to enhance children’s sense of security and wellbeing, allowing for spontaneity and flexibility. We believe in equity, inclusion and honouring diversity and advocate for childrens rights and dignity. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of the land on which our centre is built.

Kindergarten/Preschool Programs

Kindergarten/Preschool Programs

Our Pre Kindy and Kindy Room curriculums are thoughtfully designed to align with both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Learning Outcomes and the WA School Curriculum and (SCSA) Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines—the same curriculum framework used in school-based Kindy programs. This ensures children experience a consistent and high-quality foundation for lifelong learning.

At the heart of our program is a dedicated team of qualified Early Childhood Teachers, who work in close partnership with families. This collaboration ensures continuity of care and learning, laying the groundwork for a confident and smooth transition into school.

Evidence-Based and Enriched Learning

Our curriculum is further enriched by leading programs and initiatives, including:

THRASS Phonics
A structured approach to teaching phonics and literacy
KIDDO (UWA)
A physical literacy program that builds fundamental movement skills
ELLA
A digital language learning program introducing children to Mandarin

Our Kindy program draws from the insights of progressive early childhood theorists and pedagogies: Reggio Emelia, Montessori, Vygotsky, Brofenbrenner.

What the parents say

What the parents say

I just thought I would let you know of what an outstanding job everyone is doing at your centre.
The ladies taking care of [my child] are doing the most amazing job, he loves going and it’s a great reflection of the great work. He’s always happy, clean and well fed, everything is put back in his back in his dirty clothes placed in a seperate bag.

The ladies in the office have been amazing to deal with and have always been very accommodating with any questions I may have.

The kitchen staff are always happy and greet us whenever we walk by.

From the bottom of my heart Thank you, as a single mum with not much family in Perth it’s been a game changer finding Kidz Galore. The high standard of work that’s put in from all aspects is exceptional. Please give praises to all staff

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

Our Food Philosophy and Nutritional Standards

At Kidz Galore, we pride ourselves on providin chlidren with a healthy food culture that engages all five senses- sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. We recognise the vital role of nutrition in a child's development and adhere to the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Children and Adolescents and Food Standards Australia and New Zealand. Our commitment is to use whole foods rich in nutrients, minimising refined or processed foods, to offer a diverse range of tastes, textures and smells.

Creating a Positive Mealtime Environment

We believe that mealtimes should be pleasant and conducive to social interaction and learning. By providing a positive environment, we encourage the development of good eating behaviors and foster joy and excitement around food. Educators actively participate in mealtimes to promote healthy eating patterns and positive attitudes towards food. We respect and accommodate all religious, cultural, and health requirements and provide support for children with food allergies or specific cultural practices.

Food Safety and Mealtime Structure

All meals and snacks are prepared in a clean, hygienic environment following Health Department food handling and safety guidelines. Our rotating 6-week summer and winter menus are displayed weekly in the foyer. Progressive mealtimes allow children to make independent choices about when they eat, promoting ownership of their wellbeing. The meals offered include:

Breakfast (prior to 7:30 am)
Morning Tea
Lunch
Afternoon Tea
Late Snack
Dinner (for Nursery-aged children)
