We had two children cared for at Canberra road - both from babies and our experience was amazing! We feel so grateful so have our kids be looked after by such amazing staff who genuinely cared for them and played a pivotal role in the little humans they are today. I could not recommend the staff or the centre highly enough. We I’ll miss you!

My daughter has been attending Canberra Rd for the past 9 months, starting at 9 months of age. We feel so blessed with the outstanding care she receives and the dedicated team of educators who are employed there. One of our biggest draw cards to the centre was the long serving team of staff. Having consistent and familiar educators has meant my daughter has settled in so beautifully. They go above and beyond each day to provide nurturing care and wonderful educational experiences, share feedback with us and learning goals. The communication is exceptional. We love receiving the daily updates and photos each day and the wonderful directors Ashleigh and Karen provide lots of weekly updates and have a warm and friendly open door policy. Couldn't recommend enough :)

When choosing a centre for my twins I looked at a few private centres in the shire before I came across the Canberra Road Centre. When I did a tour, the staff and children all seemed happy! The boys were only 7 months old when they started at the centre one day a week. While leaving them at such a young age was difficult, knowing they were in the safe hands of the fantastic educators made it a little easier. The boys are now 4 and they love going to day care. They have many friends and have strong bonds with all of the educators. I couldn't imagine them being anywhere else.

My kids have been at this centre since the beginning of the year and it has become like their home away from home. They are so happy and learn so much. The educators have so much to offer which really helps me a lot. I can see there is constant attention given to the kids, and the educators respond to the kids in ways that they understand the kids so well. The menus are healthy, broad range, looks and smells delicious, constant and ever changing. I’ve even asked for a recipe and it tasted great. The centre is always clean, and sick policies keep spread to a minimum. Communication is swift and easy. Using the XPlor app, there is constant information provided to me about my kids’ day. The run down, photos and videos provided allow me to keep as memories or to share with kids once they grow. There is constant learning of new things with a new topic every week (science week looked like fun). Actively participating in specific days of the year, allows to kids to engage, have fun and learn. There are incursions and excursions and a great one was participating in Rugby Tots out on Gwawley Bay Oval next door. There have been no issues I can identify, and with a low staff turnaround … well that speaks volumes. Convenient location and walking distance to/from Southgate. Access is easy, with easy parking … and conveniently, a great playground just outside the centre for a quick after school play before going home. Streets are calm so easy to walk to school on a nice sunny day. Having achieved the highest rating consecutive years, there’s no place else I would look.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my kids receive at Canberra Road. The staff are incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely cares about my kids development and well-being. Both my kids feel safe, loved, and always look forward to their time there. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, fostering creativity and learning in a fun environment. I also appreciate the focus on healthy eating habits. My oldest, a fussy eater, has been encouraged to try new foods, with the cook even preparing tasty veggie alternatives to ensure they’re getting balanced meals. The attention to detail and personalised care make this daycare truly special. Highly recommend!

I put my daughter into daycare at eight months old and spent numerous hours researching the right centre. a very timid little girl, I wanted to make sure the daycare I chose was nurturing, consistent, solid staff (all the tick boxes that they tell you as a first time mum). Canberra Rd exceeded all of these. She’s been attending for over a year now and still has all the same educators (apart from a couple that have left due to maternity leave). It’s a humble little daycare; the educators are loving, down to earth and make a real effort with the kids and also parents! They keep you well informed of weekly events/happenings and as always, adore the daily photos. 10/10 for me and also my daughter who excitedly runs into daycare every morning.

My two children go to Canberra Road Early Education Centre, and we love it. The spaces are beautiful and filled with a lot of native Australian and indigenous teachings. The staff are knowledgeable, kind and loving towards my children, my youngest started at 7 months and they have been so helpful with her settling and communicating with me. I get daily feedback and photos of their days and great communication of other activities that are planned. 100% recommend them

My child goes to Canberra Rd and I cannot recommend them highly enough. All the staff are caring, attentive and professional. I feel as though the staff know my child, her personality and cater to all her needs. Previously we went to a private childcare which cost double the amount but had a terrible staff turnover. It took my child almost a year to settle there. My child settled within a week at Canberra Rd! All the staff have been there for years (I think 5 years plus) and my child/I see the same friendly faces everyday. This has made a huge difference to my child feeling safe, secure and building my confidence that she is being cared for by carers she holds an attachment too. My child loves going to "school" and "playing with her friends and teachers". They have catered to all her dietary needs without issue and have been more than accommodating in every way possible. We adore all the staff at Canberra Rd. We recently was offered a spot at another highly sort after council childcare centre as it is across the road from our home and declined due to how happy we are with Canberra Rd. I would rather extra travel time than convenience to have the amazing team at Canberra Rd care and educate for my child. If you want to send your child to a centre that truly cares about your child, send them to Canberra Rd!
