Renata is a wonderful educator with many years experience. Her FDC is a calm and nurturing environment where everyone is treated with dignity. When my 11 month old started in care, Renata went above and beyond to educate herself with regards to my daughter's allergy and nothing was too much trouble. She provides age appropriate and stimulating activities and is very flexible with adapting to each child's interests/needs. I wish I had discovered Renata's family day care years ago when I was looking for care options for my older daughter.

My son was so attached to me that I was super anxious about starting care. I knew when i entered Renata's Family Day Care that it was for us. Harrison adjusted so well because he was loved and cared for by Renata while kept busy with activities. The environment is stimulating and Renata is so creative with new ideas for play based learning. She also takes the kids on excursions often. Harrison just loves it! I feel that he learns so much more than I can teach him at Renata's and I do not feel guilty about working and leaving my son in care. It is like a home and Renata is like his aunty.

The learning curriculum follows the Early Years Learning Framework & includes Extra curriculum activities, Community excursions as well as Community incursions - some of which include:- a BUSH KINDER program (at Royal National Park), a TAFE PLAYSESSION program (at Loftus TAFE), a STORY TIME program (at local library), a HORTICULTURAL program (with Plants Abloom).
Renata's philosophy centres around the idea that play and exploration is crucial for learning, her learning environment the third teacher. She encourages children to engage in their surroundings and to actively participate in local community. Renata believes in supporting confidence & true success within every child.
