Important Review for Parents; (0 star)<br>I am very disappointed with my experience at this childcare centre in Blacktown. My son attended for only two months, and during this time he was regularly upset at pickup and often told me that he did not want to attend. Communication with parents was very poor. When I asked teachers for feedback about my son’s day or raised concerns about his wellbeing and development, I did not feel listened to or supported. Instead of taking parent concerns seriously, the attitude we experienced often felt authoritative rather than caring and educational.<br><br>Teaching is a noble and respectful profession. Children need educators who are patient, caring, supportive and respectful, and parents should also be treated with respect when they raise genuine concerns.<br><br>I understand that the fees at this centre may be lower than some other childcare centres, but lower fees should never mean lower standards of care, communication or professionalism. I strongly encourage parents to visit the centre, ask questions and carefully consider whether it is the right environment for their child before enrolling.<br><br>Based on my personal experience, I also had serious concerns about the conduct and practices of some staff members. I believe these concerns should be properly reviewed by management and, if necessary, by the relevant regulatory authorities to ensure the centre is meeting required childcare standards. I have intentionally not mentioned any individual staff names. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared so other parents can make an informed decision.

Balmoral Street Preschool has been a wonderful place for our child to learn and grow. The educators are warm, patient, and genuinely committed to creating a nurturing environment for kids. The daily activities are creative and engaging, and the communication with parents is excellent. The sense of community here is amazing—staff know the children well and celebrate their individual personalities. Our child comes home excited to share her day in school.
