The program at Puggles School of Early Learning helps the children to build strong connections with their community. They participate in regular incursions and excursions within the local community to enhance their sense of belonging. The Cultural Officer also works with the educators and children to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learning into the program. This includes language, art and music immersion activities.

The centre has a dedicated computer and library area where the children can build on their learning with programs like Reading Eggs.

Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the curriculum at Puggles School of Early Learning has been designed to engage the children in their learning. The educators use the children’s interests and skills to build activities that will continually stretch and challenge their learning.

The centre also has a school readiness program to help prepare the children for the transition to big school. The school readiness curriculum includes visits to the local primary schools as well as social, cognitive, emotional and physical activities.

The educators at Puggles School of Early Learning are dedicated to providing a high quality of education and care. They go above and beyond to support the families who use the centre and work with each child to ensure their individual needs are met. The educators in the team have many years of early childhood education and care experience between them.
