Welcome to Lismore South Public School Preschool – Ngulliboo Jarjums!
Lismore South Public School Preschool – Ngulliboo Jarjums, provides a high-quality curriculum for all children in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are a play-based preschool providing a holistic approach to support every child's learning and development.
Our purpose built preschool is attached to Lismore South Public School. Enrolments are open to all families in our local community. We offer a five-day fortnight program with the following classes:
· Echidna Group – Monday, Tuesday and every alternate Wednesday
· Goanna Group – Thursday, Friday and every alternate Wednesday
Hours of Operation: 9.00am-3.00pm. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian outside of these hours.
Ngulliboo Jarjums operates in conjunction with NSW public school terms. We are closed on public holidays and during NSW school holiday periods.
Our curriculum is governed by Australia’s National Quality Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) ‘Being, Belonging and Becoming’. The frameworks elements include learning outcomes and guidelines on best practice and principles that see each child as an active and involved learner. The curriculum refers to the interactions, experiences, activities, routines and events that occur on a day to day basis.
Ngulliboo Jarjums is proudly rated Exceeding National Quality Standard (E). This is the highest rating under the National Quality Framework which sets the consistent, high-quality standard for early childhood education.
