We have attended st Luke’s for an entire year now and the way my boys have grown has been nothing short of a dream. The staff took time when settling them in to get to know their likes, quirks and build strong meaningful connections with each child. All you want as a parent is for your children to feel seen, heard and loved and to watch these educators form that love with my children it is nothing short of amazing. We made the right decision moving to st Luke’s. We also love the connection with the school community that is consistently shown within their program.

I would just like to say how impressed I was with the team at St Luke's yesterday. Firstly I was late as I was running from the Gold Coast to the centre and my wife called and they had no issues. Then we got there my Grandson was upset and did not want me to leave. All the Staff were brilliant in trying to get him to let go of me. They allowed me to stay and try get him to calm down and read a book to him, which became half the day care centre, When that did not work, they worked on getting my Grandson to paint and relax away from the others, so they organised paints and lots of Spiderman drawings for him to do. After 4 attempts to leave and positive reassurance from all teh Stall and Ella ( I hope I have named you correctly) spending Specail time with him, I eventually good get out, without him being upset. On my arrive back on the coast, my wife rang again to see he was settles and all was good. Truly Outstanding service and its nice to know out grandson is in such a good kindy and in such loving care.

I have had three children attending St Lukes Long Daycare since 2014. I love that I get peace of mind leaving my babies to be nurtured and cared for by wonderful carers and then educated and prepared for school by the best teachers. The environment they provide my children is clean, welcoming and state of the art. The convenience of having food provided that is nutritious and delicious is a very important factor for me that is much appreciated.
St Luke’s long day care and kindergarten is located in a peaceful setting, not far from the Capalaba CBD. Our team will take the time to get to know your child, so that each week they can create new learning experiences that capture their interest and help them build new skills.
Your child will benefit from our close proximity and relationship with St Luke’s Primary School. Kindergarten children make weekly visits to the school library to borrow books and your child will be given responsibility for caring for and returning these books. The children also enjoy visits to the school playgrounds, joining the preps for lunch box days and attending school events including Masses, assemblies, cross country and under 8’s day. During each visit your child will become more comfortable on the school grounds as they and learn how to use the water bubblers, where to find the toilets and become familiar with the classroom environment. Our educators will watch your child’s confidence grow as they become part of our broader school and parish community and prepare for prep.
At St Luke’s we care for children from six weeks and offer a Queensland Government approved kindergarten program for children in the year before prep. We supply all meals, wipes, sunscreen and cot linen. All you need to bring is nappies, a hat and a spare change of clothes. We offer nutritious, age-specific meals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. All meals are prepared on site daily by our cook and approved by Nutrition Australia. We are supportive of special dietary requirements and encourage families to discuss their child’s needs with us.
