Unfortunately I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews but my experience here was so upsetting that I feel I need to warn others. Firstly I want to say that the majority of the staff were absolutely lovely and wonderful. This review is purely about one staff member, as my overall experience was unfortunately impacted by her behaviour. I have since moved my child to another preschool in the area. The main issue was with Nicolina, who I interacted with directly. Up until my interactions with her I had a very positive view of this preschool. However after speaking with her, that completely changed. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or if this is her usual manner, but her attitude and the way she spoke to me was not acceptable. Another mum had previously mentioned comments Nicolina had made about me, so I approached her calmly and respectfully to clear things up. I am not a confrontational person at all, and I went into the conversation with nothing but respect and understanding. She immediately became defensive, her tone of voice changed, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. I felt completely blindsided. I even tried to find another staff member to assist, but no one else was around. After this I left without hesitation. I did consider making a formal complaint with the manager at the time, but I didn’t want to make a big deal or be “that person,” so I chose to leave quietly without causing a fuss. Looking back now I do wish I had taken it further within the centre. In all my years, I never expected to feel spoken to or treated that way by a preschool teacher, especially when I had approached the situation kindly and respectfully. This happened months ago now, and it still honestly shocks me. We have since moved preschools and are much happier. I’m still in contact with a few mums who attend here, and some have expressed similar concerns about her attitude. Even some of the children have mentioned that they find her “mean,” which is really concerning. Again it’s such a shame because the rest of the staff were amazing and I genuinely liked the centre. It really does show how one person can make such a big impact. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I also don’t think this kind of behaviour should be ignored or excused. Christine

You won’t find a better preschool, you will feel like you’re leaving your kids with family, because that’s exactly what they’re a family.

I highly recommend Wetherill Park pre school. I’ve had both my children here since 2019 and couldn’t be happier. From the cleanliness, educators, programs, food and my children’s over all happiness, I would always come back here. This is a multi generational family business that encompasses true love for children and education. I am so grateful that my second child was also able to experience all 3 lead teachers Ann, Carol and Cassie because their care, knowledge, experience and love for the children is beyond what any parent could wish for. Since the day I moved both my children over to this centre, they did not cry or hesitate to go once!! The play equipment and stations are forever changing and children are always enjoying creative spaces! This is the cleanest centre I have ever experienced and am very grateful for all the staff’s constant support of my family. Allan is the running backbone of the centre and as a family business, their professionalism and care for their students is always at the forefront of every interaction. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and present with each student and many have been there for years. Natalie and Emeline are some of the hardest and most dedicated workers that my children have been lucky enough to also have. I can’t thank all the staff at Wetherill Park Pre School enough and would highly recommend for preschool education!

One of the most amazing preschool Centre! The amazing staff and the care for the students is outstanding!

Even if you’re not from the wetherill park area, anybody and everybody knows about Wetherill park preschool and how incredible it is. A center with such great reputation I was so eager to find out that my daughter had been accepted as we had made the switch from a different preschool, my daughter naturally was upset leaving the old center but after a couple weeks of attending wetherill park preschool she didn’t want to go back! She absolutely fell in love with the educators, the new friends and the awesome setup that they have there! Best decision I have made, she recently had an interview for kindergarten, and the teacher who interviewed her actually asked if that’s the preschool she attends and once I said yes, she said we always know which kids come out of that preschool as they’re so advanced! So thankful to the team

Great place for your child to learn and play, I cannot fault this Preschool at all!
