Both my daughters started at Little Fingers Family Daycare when they were just 8 months old, and Ruth has been like a second mom to them. Her care, love, and attention to their growth and happiness have been incredible. The nurturing environment and engaging activities make this daycare truly special. Highly recommend!

I sent my two children (aged 6 months and 2 years) to Little Fingers Day Care until they were old enough to go to school. Ruth is amazing with the kids and they always came home with many stories about the fun and creative activities they did. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the local area!

Our family had a very concerning experience at this service several years ago. When I raised questions about YouTube videos being shown to my child, the response I received did not match what my child had told me. Over time my child also told me she was sometimes separated from the other children when videos were played. There were also ongoing disagreements about food I packed for my child and comments were made about her body and diet that I found uncomfortable. She was/is healthy and still enjoys her sandwiches, yoghurt and fresh fruit and veggies for lunch. After further issues, including how a lice situation was handled (my child catching lice there twice) and the tone of communication I received, we decided to withdraw our child and raised concerns with the family day care scheme at the time. Our child was only enrolled for around eight months, but it took time and supportive teachers afterwards for her confidence around learning to rebuild. She is now one of the top students in her class. Based on our experience, I encourage parents to observe carefully and ensure they feel confident in how concerns are handled. When something does not feel right, listen to your children (behaviour is a language too), and remember that it is important to trust your instincts.
