My daughter has been at The Hive (previously Learning Sanctuary) since she was ~8 months old. From the beginning she clearly loved the smaller room sizes, and has become best friends with multiple kids who have also stayed around since young. She's also formed bonds with the educators + centre manager Tash who go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Our son has been at the centre for almost 2 years, starting under the old management.<br>We always loved the spaciousness of the centre with lots of space to run around inside and out, perfect for our energetic boy to move around. The new management and centre manager Tash have brought in many welcome changes. Staffing have become stable across the centre, lots more exciting incursions are happening, weekly music classes, cooking classes, a visit from vic police etc. Above all, the educators and room leaders are fantastic (many have been at the centre for a long time) they are all incredibly passionate and caring and make this centre such a happy place.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with The Hive Early Learning Centre Brighton. The educators are warm, caring and genuinely invested in the children’s development. The centre is always clean, welcoming and full of engaging activities that encourage creativity and confidence. Our child is thriving and has learnt so much from her educators. It’s been a great experience for us.

We have had such a positive experience with this childcare/kindergarten. Both of my boys attend, and I feel genuinely reassured knowing they are in such caring and capable hands each day.<br>A special mention needs to go to the way the team supports my youngest son, who has multiple food allergies. The educators are attentive, thorough, and always take his needs seriously, which gives me so much peace of mind as a parent.<br>The programs offered are also fantastic. The incursions are engaging and fun, and the cooking and music programs are a real highlight. My children generally love going and come home with a smile, excited to share what they experienced.<br><br>We’re very grateful for the care, communication, and effort the educators put in every day. It’s a wonderful centre that we feel lucky to be part of.

The educators are so kind and nurturing to my daughter. She is thriving and they are our village.<br>We are so grateful.

Highly recommend The Hive Brighton. Our son absolutely loves his kindy. It’s clean, has huge play spaces, and the team is genuinely dedicated. A special shout-out to Minah, an amazing kinder teacher.

From the start something made me feel uneasy with this centre. I didn’t feel that warmth and care from the staff upon entry that you want to experience.<br><br>This may be a lengthy review but valuable.<br><br>At orientation day one, I witnessed an educator in the 2.5-3 year old room singling out a little girl to all the other children as they were sitting down because the little girl didn’t help clean before book reading. The educator proceeded to tell all the children what this girl did wrong and how all the other children helped but not this young girl, and this young girl made the educator sad the educator said to all the children. It was awful to see. She was the main educator in the class too.<br><br>Then we were encouraged to and thus decided to come back for another orientation, another day to meet the other teacher in the class. My husband and I hesitated but accepted the offer. This time we not introduced to any teacher or staff by the centre manager when we entered the class, no one came up to our son or myself to welcome him or say hello either. We were in the yard for 30 mins before anyone acknowledged us. It was like we just went to the park to play.<br><br>This is just a couple of examples of the lack of warmth, care and education. We are meant to trust these educators and centres however I would not have felt confident or comfortable leaving our son there alone and expressed this to the centre manager after orientation.<br><br>At other centres, on orientation, all staff are aware we are coming, will get down to your child’s level, say hello, tell him their name, ask his interests, give him a high 5, introduce him to other children, talk to him, make him feel welcomed and comfortable, get him involved in the activities, give you details for signing in, procedures etc. This did not happen at learning sanctuary Brighton. There was no welcome process. Not sure how I was meant to leave him in the room without me on orientation as suggested on the tour.<br><br>The centre manager advised us she had spoken to the educator who singled out the young child.<br><br>We believe our list of expectations are at a bare minimum fundamental requirements for a childcare centre. Learning sanctuary Brighton did not meet these.<br><br>We were offered the option to cancel our enrolment after orientation which we did and have since found another local childcare centre.

I highly recommend LS Brighton to parents looking in the area, the caregivers do a wonderful job. My daughter has been attending for 6 months and has grown in confidence, she smiles when we walk in the door. Thank you to Jas, Patty, Pheonix and all the ladies who take care of the babies and kids in the family room. Tracey has been of great assistance, answering all my questions and always being a friendly face when we arrive bright and early. Thank you to the LS team :)

My son has been at The Learning Sanctuary Brighton since April last year. Best decision we made with putting him into this beautiful childcare. As a first time mum I was overwhelmed but the staff made us feel important and they cared for our son but also cared about the parents too.<br><br>A massive thank you to Tracey who is always welcoming and saying hello and asking how our weekend was when dropping our son off to childcare each morning. She would respond to emails, calls or even if I had any questions she would respond back to us straight away. She has a positive attitude.<br><br>My sons teachers Jas and Patty thank you. They are wonderful with him. He gets excited when he sees them. This makes me happy knowing he is in good hands.<br><br>Being a first time mum it can be very overwhelming putting your child into childcare and wanting to make sure your child is in the best of hands. I feel that with The Learning Sanctuary Brighton and I highly recommend them to anyone.<br><br>Thank you all the staff at The Learning Sanctuary in Brighton. You are all amazing.
