Ipswich Junior Grammar School’s Early Education Centre is a fun and friendly co-educational community of young learners. Children start their learning adventure from Kindy (three and four years of age) and Pre-Prep (four and five years of age) in a safe, warm and stimulating environment.
The EEC adopts the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching, which places the natural development of children and the close relationships they share with their environment at the centre of its philosophy.
A large, natural play space gives the children their own smaller, safe environment to build confidence whilst benefiting from the Junior Grammar’s extensive facilities, including the Rainforest Walk, Frog Pond and Health Centre and extensive sporting facilities. The centre also features a worm farm, vegetable patch and chickens.
