Welcome to Whitehall Early Learning Centre, a warm and modern centre in the heart of Footscray where every child feels they belong. We care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years across four age-based programs: Infants, Toddlers, Junior Kinder and Preschool.
Our curriculum blends the Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, recognising every child as capable, curious and full of potential. Through play-based learning in thoughtfully prepared spaces, children build independence, creativity and confidence at their own pace, guided by experienced and nurturing educators.
Our all-inclusive daily fee covers nappies, sunscreen, all meals and educational resources. Freshly prepared, dietitian-designed menus follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines and the Get Up & Grow framework, with five balanced meals a day and allergy-aware options.
Families enjoy daily updates and photos through our parent app, onsite parking, secure pram storage, and a safe, CCTV-monitored, air-conditioned environment with shaded outdoor play. Our EYLF-aligned School Readiness program helps preschoolers build the literacy, numeracy, social and emotional skills for a confident start to school.

Every child's journey is thoughtfully supported from infancy through to preschool across four age-based programs.
Infants (6 weeks to 1 year): a gentle, nurturing start built on secure attachments, individual routines, sensory play and safe spaces to explore.
Toddlers (1 to 2 years): a time of discovery and growing independence, with language development, social learning and active play.
Junior Kinder (2 to 3 years): building confidence, communication and early social connections through hands-on, play-based learning.
Preschool (3 to 5 years): fostering independence, resilience, early literacy and numeracy, and a smooth, confident transition to school.
Nutrition plays a vital role in every child's development, wellbeing and learning. All meals are prepared fresh on-site and follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines and the Get Up & Grow framework.
Our dietitian-designed menus provide five balanced meals each day, featuring vegetables, wholegrains and plant-based proteins, with water available throughout the day and milk at select mealtimes. Menus accommodate allergies, cultural needs and family preferences, and weekly menus are shared with families.
Mealtimes are meaningful learning moments where children explore food, build healthy habits and discover where food comes from.
We believe strong partnerships with families are at the heart of great early learning. Parents receive daily updates and photos through our parent app, along with regular progress and wellbeing updates, so you always know how your child's day has been.

Went to open day, new centre, very close to Footscray railway station. Morden interior with amazing set-up. Highly recommended.

We entrusted our toddler to Whitehall Early Learning Centre, and within just two months, we’ve seen incredible progress in his speech and social skills. The centre is consistently clean and has thorough safety measures in place, which gives us total peace of mind. On top of that, the educators are so dedicated, passionate, and genuinely caring.
