Our experience with this centre has been disappointing. The biggest concern has been illness management. On multiple occasions I observed children who appeared unwell remaining in care, and despite asking to be contacted if this occurred so I could collect my child, I was never notified. During our time at the centre, my child experienced repeated and prolonged illnesses, and I collected him on more than one occasion covered in other children's nasal mucus.<br><br>Communication has also been consistently poor. Phone calls frequently go unanswered, missed calls are often responded to by email instead, and responses are regularly delayed or not received at all. I also felt that the daily routine was influenced by staff availability rather than the individual needs of the children. My child does not nap, yet was encouraged to do so because there was no supervised alternative activity available.<br><br>There has also been a very high turnover of management and senior staff, often without any communication to families. This left us concerned about the consistency and continuity of care. Whenever I attempted to raise concerns about my child's care, I found discussions difficult because they often became defensive rather than collaborative. Finally, unlike every other childcare centre our family has attended, the centre never contacted us to check on our child when he was unexpectedly absent.<br><br>Having had children attend multiple childcare centres over the years, I know these experiences are not typical. Unfortunately, this centre did not meet the standard of care or communication we expected, and I would not recommend it to other families.<br><br>Edit (30 Jul 26): Following escalation of a complaint within the organisation we discussed the issues at hand with Belinda, who has been nothing short of understanding, forthright and kind. Belinda is looking to address the issues raised and while our child will not be staying, I am reassured that she has things in hand.

Our experience with this daycare was mixed. While some staff were warm and caring, we had ongoing concerns about consistency in care and aspects of the environment that didn’t fully meet our expectations. Based on our overall experience along with other none related factors, we decided to move our child to another service. Since leaving, we’ve become aware of further issues, which has reinforced that this was the right decision for our family. I couldnt personally recommend but if you are considering sending your child here, i’d encourage other you to visit, ask questions, and decide if it feels like the right fit for you.

Our family have been with Learn & Laugh since they opened in 2024. They prepared my son for big school, are currently doing the same with my daughter, and will soon be taking on my third child as well! Every morning my daughter runs in to join her friends and her teachers, and every afternoon she wants to stay until close. We've had nothing but positive experiences here, and the staff have shown my children (and us) extreme support and stability as we've moved through some life challenges. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

We moved our daughter here in oct 2024 following a move of area and we couldn't be happier. She has come on leaps and bounds both educationally and socially. Fantastic centre with really caring educators
