We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Fiona’s family day care. From the very beginning, Fiona has been warm, nurturing, and truly dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children. Her genuine love for what she does is evident in the way she cares for each child, ensuring they feel valued, encouraged, and excited to learn. Our son started with Fiona when he was three years old, and over the past two years, we’ve watched him grow in so many wonderful ways. Under Fiona’s guidance, he developed essential social and cognitive skills, made great friends, and engaged in a variety of fun, hands-on learning activities that kept him curious and eager to explore. Sadly, we had to move interstate, and leaving Fiona’s care was one of the hardest parts of our transition. The small group setting allows for personalized attention, and we love the home-like atmosphere that makes our child feel comfortable and secure. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and photos, so we always know what’s happening throughout the day.

When speaking with Fiona it is obvious that her true passion is children and Family Day Care! She is a highly experienced educator who creates and fosters a loving and nurturing environment for all children. Fiona’s depth of knowledge and experience has been able to provide my son with the appropriate emotional support to help him regulate those big three year old feelings. She allows children to lead the way in their learning, become confident problem solvers and her love of language, books and story telling has also been infectious. I consider Fi to be a part of our family, not only as a career for our son, but as a friend who has been able to support me in my own parenting journey.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Fiona. Her professionalism, learning strategies and love for her children create an amazing environment. You can really see the children thriving with confidence and loving every minute they spend with Fiona.

Fiona is a treasure, I’m so thankful I found her for my son. I have completely trusted him in her care and he has flourished. I cannot speak highly enough about Fiona's day care. Her passion, dedication and sheer competency exceed any expectations I had for day care and even after her years or experience she is still eager to learn more by attending seminars and reading. Her service is more than day care; she nurtures, develops and loves the children in her care. "I had a great day today!" is often what my son says when we pick him up after a day with 'Fifi'. Fiona's passion, experience and dedication mean that we are delighted for the time that our son spends with her each week. We have appreciated the time Fiona has taken to explain her method and the clear communication that she provides to families. We have no hesitation in recommending Fiona emphatically.

My youngest started at a local childcare centre at 12 months and while I knew his needs were generally being met I was never confident that he was being truly nurtured and catered for individually. Since moving him to Fi’s I can finally relax seeing the happiness on his face whenever it’s a fi-fi day. Fiona creates a loving, learning environment where my child feels completely valued and safe. She is so committed to each child and helping them in all areas of their development, and as a parent it’s a great comfort to see how well she understands their individual needs. The regular time spent out in nature exploring and engaging in child led creative play is something that other childcare environments weren’t able to offer and I have seen endless benefits for my little person. I’m very thankful to know my son will be learning and growing with Fi through these important couple of years before school.

My son began with Fiona ("Fifi") at 4 years of age. Fiona is a wonderfully warm carer. She is so enthusiastic and passionate about nurturing children's social skills and preparing them for school. My son absolutely loved the daily nature walks and story time. I could trust that each day he was eating wholesome food and learning something new while being gently guided by Fifi. I highly recommend Fiona's service, your child will greatly benefit!

Our daughter N joined Fifi's daycare a year ago and we have had a wonderful experience. N very quickly trusted Fifi and was excited about spending her days with her. Initially I picked her up after school pick-up, but soon my daughter requested to stay until the end of the day. A few weeks in she started calling Fifi Mummy 2, which in my opinion shows the trust and joy to spend time with FIona. As a parent I appreciate the effort and dedication Fiona has towards her job. The children spend a few hours outdoors in different reserves and nature spots in which they can explore and discover their surroundings. On days with poor weather Fiona still takes them out to the library, playgroup or sometimes to the museum. It is wonderful to see that an educator makes this effort to show the children different places for inspiration. Fiona is also very particular about literature. She ensures the children are exposed to high quality stories and illustrations and is open for new suggestions to explore the world of stories. We had a wonderful experience with you Fifi and we cannot recommend you enough to other children.

Fiona has been taking care of our daughter since she turned 2 and the difference that "going to see Fi Fi" has had on the whole family is enormously positive. Our daughter cannot wait to see Fi Fi and on our return from holiday or when she is with other child care arrangements we get constant requests to "go to Fi Fi's house" - which speaks for itself. Fiona not only provides excellent care for the children (both directly and in ensuring that they are encouraged to support each other) but she also gives great support to the parents - willingly sharing her years of experience on every topic imaginable and also providing great updates throughout the day. Service delivery = 10/10, areas for improvement - zero! Thank you Fiona.
