After being an OAC Brunswick West family for so many years, it was hard saying goodbye. We are, and will be, forever grateful to the caring and dedicated educators we had. Despite all the disruptions and challenges early education has faced in the last few years, it feels we barely noticed them due to the sound administration at this centre. Brooke was the constant there, and having her there meant we knew we had nothing to worry about. Working in partnership with the educators means we are well-equipped for the next phase. We love OAC Brunswick West!! The staff have always been so accommodating and welcoming which helped put us at ease when we first signed up. Now our little one loves their days here and is so excited when we pull up, and has learnt and excelled so much since attending OAC. We appreciate that all educators and staff make an effort to know all of the children by name. We feel so comfortable leaving our child with the staff knowing they will have a fun day playing, learning and eating yummy food. Welcome to Only About Children Brunswick West!
Only About Children Brunswick West is a warm and inviting child care centre close to local schools and parks. Children are cared for by qualified and passionate educators, in a safe and home-like environment that facilitates play-based learning that is both structured and unstructured. Children from six weeks to school age are able to attend from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm with all meals and snacks provided.
In the large outdoor play spaces, the children are free to ride on the bike track, water the plants in the vegetable garden, or dig in the sandpit. Inside, the light-filled spaces use natural materials to encourage play and interaction with friends. Educators enjoy taking the children out in the local community for excursions and community activities that build on the children’s interests, including a Bush Kinder program in the local bushland and regular visits to the local aged care home. The campus also has a unique Playground to Plate program where children help grow produce in the sensory garden, prepare and share fresh seasonal food.
