I highly recommend Uplyft/Wanslea daycare in Joondanna. It was my first experience with a day care when my daughter started there in early 2024. I am constantly impressed with the care and thought that goes into everything they organise. The photos I get of my little one from her days there showcasing her experiences. The after hours seminars they run on relevant topics like toilet training, behavioural support etc. They’ve also organised optional services of things like professional day care photos, hearing tests, dental check ups etc They always have well thought out menu plans and advise how your child has enjoyed the food and even provide the recipe if it’s something your child really enjoyed and you want to cook it at home. I like that the front desk staff recognise my daughter by name the moment she walks in as they do with all the kids. Makes me feel like my child is not just a number. I’ve seen the same educators faces over the years, not just a pool of endless casual staff. Most of the educators know my daughter even though she isn’t even in their room. Above all, I love that when I go to pick up my daughter she is so comfortable there which gives me the peace of mind that she is well cared for and feels supported. You can tell the staff genuinely take an interest in all the kids they look after and provide educational plans based on their individual interests to help them learn new skills. These things are all very important to me and I could not be happier with my choice of daycare. Regrettably I recently moved from the area and had to change daycares because of the commute however we still visit for casual days but having to put my daughter in another daycare just reiterated how good the team at Wanslea/Uplyft are. I would sum it up by saying it feels more like a family than a business. If you want a place your little one can thrive and grow then you have found it 😊

Our little one has been at Uplyft since she was a baby and has navigated through a number of rooms. Each transition has been seamless and the community feel of the centre is just magnetic. It’s honestly been such a delight having our child attend this centre. All staff we come into contact with are diligent, attentive and caring. Nothing is too big an ask! Our toddler loves her daycare days and the beautiful friendships they’ve developed . Highly recommend!

We are so grateful for this service. Our granddaughter absolutely loves her educators in the Birdak Room, and it’s clear they have built such a special bond with her. She especially enjoys the songs they sing, and we love that we’re learning them together at home, too. Thank you for helping our little ones build their skills and confidence while having fun.

Can not fault this amazing place and the team of educators. Our little one has been attending since 6 months of age and they have supported his play, development and fun every step of the way. And he loves going to see all his friends!

My child has been attending the Joondanna service for about a year now and I have no faults at all. The staff are so lovely, warm and welcoming it feels like a second family. I feel so safe leaving my child here everyday with the lovely staff. The educators do such a great job at creating a warm, safe and welcoming environment for all the children. I couldn’t recommend a place more. During the enrolment process the educators and staff were so wonderful in making me and my child comfortable.

Our two kids have been at daycare here and they love it! From the baby room to the kindy aged room, the staff are kind, playful and are excellent childhood educators. Highly recommend!!
