Fantastic team with many longstanding staff who genuinely care about the people they support!!

Our family had a great experience with the Centre. Educators were caring and genuinely dedicated to the children’s wellbeing. Years later, the kids still talk about the educators 😊 One of the things we appreciated most was stability of the staff - they had very low turnover which helped in building strong relationships.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Wanslea/Uplyft service. The long-term educators have built strong relationships with us, creating a sense of trust and security. I appreciate the consistency of familiar faces and the genuine care shown every day. Keep up the great work!

I am incredibly grateful to the wonderful team at Wanslea (Uplyft) who cared for my three children between 2018 and 2024. Although our children only attended one day per week, they were always welcomed and supported with the same care, attention, and dedication as children who attended more regularly. The educators built genuine relationships with each of our children and created a warm, nurturing environment where they felt safe and valued. A special mention goes to the support provided to our son, who found drop-offs particularly challenging. The staff were patient, understanding, and proactive in working with us to trial different strategies and build on his strengths to help him transition successfully. Their care and commitment made a real difference to both him and our family. The communication, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the entire team were exceptional. We watched all three of our children grow in confidence and independence during their time here, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to their early learning journey. I highly recommend this service to any family looking for a caring and supportive childcare centre.

Both my boys attended Uplyft from the time they were one until in full time school. The educators are amazing and helped us navigate all the new challenges that came our way, and both the kids and I made some life long friends that we still see today.

Wanslea was a great place to start our daughter's social and educational life. This is a well run outfit with caring, professional staff. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time there and acquired the skills to move to primary school with confidence. Highly recommended.

Both my kids attended Wanslea (now known as Uplyft) daycare in their early years. It had been such a great learning environment and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff that taught, cared and made their lives fun and happy. The food that was also prepared was healthy, nutritious and my kids learnt to eat themselves at such an early age. Most of the educators have been at the centre for long tenures which really shows how great the centre is. We simply love Wanslea.

This is an amazing centre with the best staff. Fernanda, Sunita and others took such great care of our girls, and we are very grateful. Children are very well looked after, there is a consistent learning program, the food is nutritious. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our eldest joined Wanslea/Uplyft Joondanna back in 2022 after we had a bad experience at another centre in the area. The difference was immediate, I’ll never forget her second day when she happily reached out her arms to go to her new educator without a single tear. Before that she was struggling with daily tears and distress at drop-offs. I was amazed at how quickly the team built a connection with her. She’s now at school, but our second child is currently attending and absolutely thriving. It's really special to have so many of the same educators now caring for our second. I have peace of mind that she is safe, supported and genuinely cared for. The staff are truly wonderful and without a doubt Uplyft’s greatest asset. They are worth their weight in gold.

We feel really grateful for the experience our family had at this centre. From the beginning, the educators created such a warm, nurturing and supportive environment. We were especially lucky to have Fernanda as our little ones lead educator for almost his entire time there. She is incredibly dedicated, thoughtful and child-centred in the way she supports children and families. She consistently kept me updated about what he was learning, how he was progressing, what strategies were working well for him, and any challenges that came up along the way. What stood out most was how collaborative she was. She would often ask what we were seeing at home, what approaches worked for us, and she genuinely took those things on board and incorporated them into his care and learning at daycare. It always felt like we were working together as a team to support him. As an paediatric allied health professional, I also really appreciated the centre’s approach to learning and behaviour support. It was clear that the educators understood that children learn differently and need different types of support and motivation. I saw so many examples of thoughtful, play-based learning and individualised approaches that supported children where they were at developmentally. thrived. He grew so much in confidence, learning, independence and social skills, and the educators celebrated so many milestones alongside us. It really felt like they were invested not only in his care, but in his overall development and wellbeing. The centre also has a lovely community feel. There were some operational changes during our time there that were difficult and understandably impacted families, however it does seem that some things have returned more closely to how they previously were, which has been really positive to see. If there was one area for improvement, it would probably be updating some of the classroom furniture, resources and equipment, as some items are looking quite worn after many years of use. Overall, we have so much appreciation for the care, effort and support we received during our time at the centre. It was a really positive experience for our family, and we’ll always be grateful for the role the educators at Wanslea played in our son’s early years.
