At St Nicks, we believe every child deserves a nurturing, inspiring, and connected beginning. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our centres create environments where curiosity, creativity, and respect for the natural world are at the heart of learning.
Nestled in the leafy surrounds of Yarralumla, our two centres — St Nicks Hellenica and the newly opening St Nicks Botanica — invite children to explore, play, and grow in thoughtfully designed learning spaces enriched by nature and community connections.
At St Nicks Botanica, children from six months to five years will enjoy six innovative play spaces and two natural outdoor learning environments. Here, the outdoors guides discovery through sensory experiences, mud-kitchen play, gardening projects, and community explorations. Our programs are enriched with specialist experiences including Ready Steady Go Kids sports, Wiradjuri Echoes cultural sessions, and Art classes.
At St Nicks Hellenica, we continue our long-standing tradition of excellence in early childhood education, recognised for our Exceeding NQS standard. Families trust us for our gentle, intentional approach to transitions, and the strong relationships we build with each child and family.
Together, our centres form a community where children are encouraged to wonder, connect, and thrive — supported by dedicated educators, families, and the rich natural beauty of Yarralumla.
We proudly acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as the Traditional Custodians of this land and honour our responsibility to care for the people, animals, and environment that surround us.
