Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

The educators at Goodstart Early Learning follow an evidence-based curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework. Informed by world-leading research, practices and techniques, the curriculum encourages the children’s natural curiosity and engages them in their learning journey.
As the children move through the different rooms in the centre, the curriculum evolves with them. The educators set goals for the children and celebrate as they reach their milestones. At every stage, the educators are tailoring the curriculum and goals to each child’s individual needs.
The curriculum involves different types of learning experiences and styles. The educators embed teaching and learning into play experiences, helping the children to make sense of the world around them. This is how the children learn about how things work and develop important foundational relationships and skills.
The primarily child-directed, play-based curriculum ensures that the children are engaged in their learning. They are encouraged to take the lead, developing their negotiation, risk taking, problem solving and social skills. The educators observe the children and help to challenge them by extending their learning and interests.
The educators recognise that every child is unique and that they bring their own needs, interests and strengths with them each day. The program is designed to be flexible to cater to these differing needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive at Goodstart.
Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.
Goodstart Early Learning employs qualified and skilled educators who are dedicated to making a difference to the children in their care. Hi everyone, my name is Kayla and I am excited to be the Centre Director here at Goodstart Braybrook.
I’d love to share a little about myself and hope to soon get to know a about little you and your family!
I have worked for Goodstart Early Learning for nearly 20 years now. I hold a Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. Throughout my time with Goodstart, I have worked as an educator across all ages ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years. I have experienced many roles including an Assistant Educator, Senior Educator and Assistant Director.
The importance of building strong, reciprocal relationships between children, families, and educators is reflected within my personal philosophy. In doing this, together we can succeed in creating warm and welcoming spaces for children to learn, explore, and grow.
Through educating and uplifting educators, I aspire to support our team in achieving good practice, as well as encouraging them to strive towards continuous improvement across the service.
I believe that young children can learn a great deal through what they observe, which is why my attitude is all about leading by example and being a positive role model.
Additionally, our Exceeding National Quality Standard status promotes our excellence in providing the best care and learning experiences so your children can enjoy a great start in life.

I am so grateful to find such a wonderful childcare centre for my daughter. From the start Michelina , Elbisa and all the educators have made us feel welcomed, supported and reassured. That means a lot as a parent knowing that my child is cared for with so much kindness, patience and love.<br>I have seen such a positive change with my child especially in her social skills — becoming more confident, happy and excited to learn and play.<br><br>Shouting a huge thank you to all the amazing educators for everything they do every day. Your dedication, care and genuine love for the children does not go unnoticed.

We have sent our son to daycare since January of this year. While he was initially reluctant to settle the educators in Nursery 1 (Elbisa and Michelina) were absoutely dedicated to helping him feel safe and settled away from home. Now I attend daycare for pick up and he does not want to leave. I cannot fault the level of service, care and love that is showered on all of the kids. It is very difficult as a new mum to feel safe trusting other people with your child but Goodstart Braybrook now feels like our "village".

I’d highly recommend this childcare to anyone considering it! I was so nervous for my first baby to start at 9 months but Elbiza and Michelina have become such a big part of my babies growth in the last 3 months. Not only do they take so much care of my baby but they, Kyla the centre director and the extended team, also support me during my journey as a first time partner! My baby is SO happy, has learnt so many skills we couldn’t teach at home and genuinely enjoys going everyday, which made my experience of going back to work a breeze! We inspected a number of places and this was the only one we wanted our baby to go to!

Kindergarten is excellent my 2 girls are so happy there! We have a very close relationship with the kindergarten teachers, always clean and tidy, learning program is amazing and the girls always enjoy the healthy food ☺️

Our son has been at Goodstart Braybrook for just over a year now and we are so happy we took the recommendation from a family friend to send him there. Kayla is a fabulous leader as the Director of the centre and has employed nurturing, caring and compassionate staff. She is a strong communicator and is clearly invested in her role there. The centre has a very low staff turnover and share staff across rooms, which has meant our child knows all the educators very well and is secure in all their care. Our son has taken a particular shining to Elbisa who he started with in Nursery 1. We love that he is able to still see her when they combine classes and play outside. Often when we pick him up at the end of the day he’s sitting in her lap playing and laughing. I find all the educators to be engaging and happy, which results in our child having a fulfilling, interactive, and educational time there.
