Absolutely worse centre on this planet, I wouldn’t allow my child to spend a minute in this centre. They allowed my friends child to sit in a soiled nappy for 45 minutes which resulted in him getting nappy rash to the point he had blisters. Avoid the centre like to plague!

No I do not recommend Young Academics Tahmoor or any of them they charge you full rates every public holiday even charge you Christmas day full rates when all centres are closed what a disgrace you get no holiday period you pay 52 weeks a year disgraceful. All they care about is money your kids are nothing but dollar signs here to them the quality of care is poor you will recieve group photos daily about it the owna app is never filled out everyday missed food daily nappy changes, sleeping naps are poor as well and you recieve really no updates on your childs individual progress its all just tick and flick so they pass accreditations you will get the generic answers they were good today about it from staff. My son was constantly sick here over and over again with gastro to flu constantly sick. My son only attended two days per week for past 6 months all the staff quit at Tahmoor the centre director to assistant director and over 6 other staff members place is whole. In the end I would take my son here for drop off he would scream in car soon as we get to driveway and pull up then go inside to log in and drop off nothing but cry and scream like he was trying to tell me do not let me go here daddy lucky I listened to him. In the end I could not subject my son no longer to the sickness and screaming upon entry to centre we decided to withdraw him which you will pay 4 x weeks notice all about money. We have since found a new centre he now attends 5 days per week full time in a small family run centre and no screaming no crying he seems to love it does not wan't to leave upon pick up says it all. When your child cries upon drop off its not for no reason people they are trying to tell you something every time its up to you as the parent to listen to your child and do not just brush it off as anxiety every time. Some real unhappy staff work at this place to loose over 7 staff in a month is dreadful staff retention and says everything about Young Academics childcare. They just cover up why staff all quit all big smoke screen and treat the parents like fools.

The staff are all lovely and highly organised , the education programs are excellent and their communication is also fantastic ! I highly recommend them!

We’ve been going to Tahmoor Academics since the 1st day it opened in the area. My daughter started in the nursery and now is in the toddler room. Starting off with this centre was great! It’s clean, organised, communication was great, staff saying hello. The management staff would greet you and have conversations with you etc fantastic. Even when there was an illness outbreak you were alerted and they deep cleaned after every case. Since the first manager left the centre has turned to shit. The new management staff don’t even acknowledge you, too busy having a personal conversation or heads deep on their mobile phones, it’s so unprofessional and as a paying client I expect more! There’s been ALOT of resignations the last couple of months to the point we’re raising eyebrows as it was a notification after notification. They promised to put out comms of who is who that’s new etc and what is happening moving forward and we still have no idea nothing has happened. My child is being looked after by these people so I do expect staff going above and beyond. There are some I do genuinely think they are there for the right reasons and there are others that are just incompetent (maybe it’s lack of maturity?) Since management change over I do think the quality of this service has fallen, I have rang head office over to put forward my thoughts and concerns. Something has to change. Shout out to the chef there she’s been there since day dot, she’s helped us out a lot, greets you, talks to you and is very good at what she does! Shes the constant in the current chaos. Tick in my books they do Call when they need to ask you something about your child ✅ Alert of illness outbreak ✅ Clean ✅ OWNA updates I love, app doesn’t alway tell you what’s logged which is annoying but better than nothing ✅ Good educational program ✅ What they fail to do Constantly have other kids clothing (have raised it a few times, have solutions in place happens every now and again instead of constant) Professional manners from management Keep on top of awful smells, if I can smell a kid shat themselves pretty sure everyone else can too.. keep on top of it! Make your own mind up but this is my opinion/experience

My children have been attending this centre since they opened. The team have been fantastic with meeting their needs and ensuring they are loved, respected and cared for. Cannot recommend enough!
