Club Teen is a program for young people with disability aged 6 - 18 years and is available after school and during school holiday periods. Club Teen is a service for those who are unable to access main stream services due to their support requirements. Club Teen is designed to meet the needs of young people individually and and as a group to ensure everyone is safe. The young person is learning new skills while enjoying time with their peers in their community.
After School Care
After School Care is located at Alexander House from 3 pm - 6 pm each school day. Young people can be picked up from their school and transported to Club Teen. A range of activities based on young peoples interest and needs are provided. Examples include cooking, craft, sports, trampolining, games, music and dance.
Holiday Programs (Vacation Care)
The Club Teen Holiday Program operates during school holidays Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm. The core program runs from 10 am - 3 pm. A range of community based activities are planned to provide an enriching and enjoyable experience for young people. Examples include trampolining, swimming, walking, healthy cooking programs, cultural activities, sensory, music, art activities. The school holiday program loves to get out and about in the local community and beyond and go on day trips to various locations for example to Aquamoves in Shepparton for swimming, Bendigo's Eaglehawke play park or bush activities at Picnic Point.
NDIS Funding
Young people can access Club Teen using their NDIS funding. This can be funded as a core support. If you do not have an NDIS plan please make contact with us and our support team may be able to assist you to apply for an NDIS plan.
