We absolutely love Indigo Montessori in Mount Hawthorn and all the lovely educators there. We have watched our son blossom, make friends and look forward to ‘school’ each week in the last year and a half. The amount of care and support each educator pours into the children (and parents) is priceless and you can tell they take great pride in what they do. The centre is super cute and I love the fact they have chickens to look after and a garden to water, as well as all the wonderful indoor activities. Absolutely love the environment!

Our little daughter is about to finish this beautiful stage of her life and couldn't be more grateful to Indigo Montessori and its lovely staff for all their love, support and commitment in encouraginh our little one to develop skills and learn so many things that will be very important for her transition to school. My daughter has been attending this child care for three years, and we have never had a single issue. The communication is always excellent, and the educators are truly caring and supportive. One of the things I love most is the rich mix of cultures Luna is now trying to speak different languages thanks to the diverse environment and the wonderful educators who celebrate every child's background. It genuinely feels like a family, and my daughter is always excited to come. I highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a safe, warm, and inclusive place where children can grow and thrive.

This is the best place we could have chosen for our daughter, where she develops independence and is surrounded by love. It has only strong women who are dedicated to bringing out the best in each child.

We couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre for our girls. Tash, the manager, has been so accomodating to our forever busy lifestyle always helping us out with last-minute care and making everything effortless. Her management style flows through into the team of educators, and they are all just as impressive. Kyra, Ella, Karma, and Chantelle (just to name a few) have all gone above and beyond for our girls, and it really shows. They’re not just great at their jobs, they genuinely care, and you can see the difference in how much our kids enjoy coming in every day. Massive thank you to the whole team. Our experience at Indigo Montessori Mt Hawthorn has been nothing short of exceptional. What I’ve been most impressed with is how intentionally the team supports manners, boundaries, emotional regulation, and real-world social skills. The guidance is calm, consistent and grounded (not performative) and you can genuinely see the positive impact it has on the kids. The environment is nurturing, thoughtful, and incredibly professional. Our child has grown so much in confidence, empathy, and independence since starting here. If you’re looking for a centre that understands children, respects them as individuals, and still provides clear expectations and boundaries, Indigo Montessori Mt Hawthorn is absolutely the place. What an incredible first experience of the educational system this daycare has been for my daughter ! As a very shy and reserved child, I have watched my daughter blossom into a confident little girl, learning to play and interact with other children in a safe and fun environment. I cannot speak highly enough of every single staff member at this daycare. Every one of them goes above and beyond every single day to make the children feel comfortable and happy. Drop offs are so easy, like leaving her with family.

If you want your child to learn manners, boundaries, or any form of grounded, real-world behaviour, this is not the place. The whole environment feels built on the idea that speaking in an exaggerated, high-pitched, performative voice somehow counts as effective guidance. It comes across as completely out of touch with reality, with little focus on helping children develop respect, self-awareness, or consideration for others. If you don’t want your child growing up thinking the world revolves around them, go elsewhere.
