I've had a long relationship with the YMCA – from attending as a young child, to briefly working there a decade ago, and now with my youngest child attending. I truly cannot fault this centre. Every single educator goes above and beyond for the families enrolled, and it shows in everything they do. I'm so grateful my baby gets to be part of such a beautiful, loving environment. Leaving your child in someone else's care is never easy, but having to work is a reality many of us face. Knowing my son is so well looked after gives me such peace of mind. The level of care and attention the educators provide – not just to my child, but to every child – is nothing short of exceptional. Thank you to the whole team for creating such a nurturing and supportive place.

I can’t speak highly enough of this place. The staff are just amazing and really listen to you, and just generally go above and beyond in every way. My baby Charlie was pretty tricky to get to sleep and was resistant for so long with drinking from a bottle but they persevered and got there in the end- a special shout out to Katie the baby whisperer, and the chefs for the really yummy, healthy food, but all the staff are great. Also the outdoor space was by far the best out of the four daycare centres I looked at. Nice and big, natural environment with lots of interesting nooks and crannies to play in. Plus huge room inside and two cot rooms so the babies aren’t crammed in like sardines. We couldn’t have picked a better place to start our daycare journey and now Charlie is a daycare pro, despite how nervous I was about the whole daycare thing at the beginning. I only took her out of this daycare as we had to go back to Perth, otherwise I would have happily kept her there. Highly recommend.

As a single father of two boys I wanted to give my sons every opportunity to learn and develop to grow and learn to be whatever they want to be. YMCA offer a child focussed individual education plan that captures the Montessori method perfectly. Both boys really benefited from their experiences at YMCA and I can’t thank the educators enough for their daily commitment to early learning. Highly recommend YMCA Bunbury!

I have my daughter in care at YMCA and she has taken a little bit to settle in, but now she has I can highly recommend it. My daughter comes home happy from her day and I can see in the photos the educators share that she is really enjoying herself and making some really nice little friends. Childcare is always hard for parents in letting go and also guilt but the team at YMCA really have a nice way of helping you to settle in your child and communicate really well. I also know how hard it would be to have a number of children on the go at the one time, but they always seem to make some time to have a personal connection with you as a parent and your child. I really appreciate the ladies at YMCA and I wish they got paid more for ALL they do, day in day out. Thank you kindly YMCA ladies.

A very good daycare centre. They are super considerate and welcoming. The staff are amazing with all of the kids. I never feel nervous when I leave my child in their care. I know that he will be well taken care of and do lots of fun activities. They are always so encouraging if you feel like you want to ring and check in. Nothing is ever to much, highly recommend them!

My daughter's moved to YMCA Bunbury from another local daycare and we have not looked back. The staff are kind, caring and professional. I would recommend to other families looking for quality care for your children.

I have had a long relationship with YMCA Glen Iris as my grandchildren have been attending for many years. The amazing, caring staff have supported each child through their formative years so well transition to school was made that more easier for them. As a regular to the center it is always clean, tidy, the kids are always happy and enjoying well supervised activities. The girls go above and beyond and feel like part of your family. YMCA is lucky to have such wonderful staff in their center and I thoroughly recommend anyone who is looking for an early childhood center to go in; visit, meet the staff and see the wonderful work they do with the children. I wrote the above a year ago, I wanted to say my opinion is unchanged, the wonderful staff have and continue to go above and beyond in the care of the children and center.
