My Son has been attending Goodstart Park Street for a couple of months now and I am continuously impressed by the centre and all the educators. From the get go the centre has taken a lot of time and care, allowing us to tour twice, encouraged play dates before enrolment began and has shared constant and clear communication every step of the way. All the educators are very friendly and clearly have a genuine care for the children at the centre! We would recommend this centre to any parents looking at daycares in the area!

Very experienced director, great staff, and strong communication. My best friend’s child goes there, and from the way they communicate and how she talks about them, you can tell they genuinely care about the kids.

We strongly suggest to any parents who are looking for a childcare centre: please check the centre’s Google reviews before you enrol your child. Do more walk-in tours at different centres and try to find a friendly and caring environment for your precious child. If you do your research on Google reviews, you will find that some parents share their honest opinions there. Then you will understand why some childcare centres only have 4.4 star ratings while other centres have perfect 4.9 or 5 star ratings. This centre definitely cannot offer a warm and caring environment for children. The children there did not receive the care, attention, and emotional support they needed to settle in properly, and the educators and director did not care at all. That is why many children were often very sad and cried a lot when attending, which was extremely distressing for parents. This is also the obvious reason why so many parents have pulled their children out and left, SO - BE CAREFUL !!!

Both of my children have attended this daycare, and the care has been great. My son is now 6 and still talks fondly about his educators, especially Miss Manshu, who is a wonderful and dedicated Kindy teacher. My daughter is currently 7 months old and adores Miss Lucy. As a parent, there’s no better feeling than knowing your baby is genuinely loved and in capable, attentive hands. I’m aware the centre went through a turbulent period, but it is now under the directorship of Erin. Having known her for 5.5 years, I can say with confidence that she runs a tight ship. The difference is clear, and the centre is stronger for it. I toured other facilities for my daughter, some brand-new with all the bells and whistles, but money can’t buy educators who love what they do. What matters most is the genuine care, consistency, and dedication shown to the children every single day, and this centre delivers that in spades. Highly recommended.

My daughter has been in this centre for now 2 years and have been amazing My child is fully deesing tube fed no oral at all. When we first started had alot of medical paperwork to squiz through but the director then was beautiful and welcoming. We have now another beautiful director who does a wonderful job looking after the centre. My child is well looked after with staff being trained for her tube and her feeding pump and every year we go through her medical requirements to make sure they are all updated. My girl loves going to daycare and we love daycare the centre has just been painted looks beautiful and so fresh. The educators are amazing beautiful caring people very welcoming and easy to talk to. Thank you for accepting my girl and letting us become part of goodstart family.

A great daycare—my daughter loves attending and the staff are friendly and caring. I really appreciate the regular updates. As a first-time mum, it gives me so much comfort knowing the educators are attentive to my daughter’s needs and have put supportive measures in place.

What a little gem of a centre! I was surprised as I walked in and was greeted with a bubbly and friendly centre director, who made us feel welcomed instantly. She engaged well with my child as we entered the front door and he was comfortable to interact with her instantly. The centre seemed to be having some maintenance done, but the children were all playing and seemed happy. There were adequate toys and experiences set up for the children and none of them looked bored. The teachers spoke to us about the learning that happens throughout the day and also seemed nice and friendly. While we were visiting we saw a few parents come collect their children from the centre and seemed very comfortable in interacting with the whole team. I cant wait until we move to the area to enroll our child here. We toured many centres in the area, and this little gem, is our choice for childcare. It just felt comfortable and like an extension our home.

Do not send your children to this childcare centre! I had heard negative things about this Goodstart centre but still decided to book a tour because it’s close to our home. Unfortunately, the poor reputation turned out to be true. During the tour, we witnessed older children chasing and harassing younger ones with no staff intervention. The outdoor yard looked messy and dirty, with toys scattered everywhere—I nearly tripped several times. The staff in the office (not sure  she was the director or receptionist) was impatient and unwilling to answer our questions, even though this was our first childcare search and we had many concerns. Meanwhile, other staff were chatting instead of supervising the children. We saw everything with our own eyes and decided never to return. Choosing another centre was the right decision for us. Our child is now happily enrolled at another Childcare Centre( at Chatsworth road), which has an excellent reputation and truly provides quality care every day.

(Updated) After eight months at the centre, we’re still so glad we made the move here. From the beginning it has felt like a calm, welcoming place where the educators genuinely care about the children. I have two boys and they both love their educators and feel comfortable and happy at the centre. They ask to go with excitement every morning, and as soon as they see their educators they run over to ask for a hug. I also really appreciate that they get to spend time together in the outdoor area, which gives them some lovely sibling time during the day. The rooms and outdoor spaces are always well set up, and there’s a good balance between learning, play and routine. After going through six different centres with my first child due to moving house and other circumstances, this one is our absolute favourite. It’s been such a relief to find a centre that feels stable, well run and consistent. Communication has been great — we get regular updates and photos via app and also drop offs/pick ups and all educators are very approachable, and it’s always clear what the kids have been doing and learning. There are also lots of little events and activities that make the days fun and keep the kids engaged. Recent Christmas party was very well organised and the gifts we received were very thoughtful. We’re also really happy with Erin as the new Centre Director. She’s very experienced and approachable, and it’s reassuring to know the centre is in good hands. Overall, we feel confident leaving our kids here each day and would happily recommend the Park Street centre to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy childcare centre.
