Our daughter has been attending Hccc since the beginning of this year and I can honestly say that she is thriving, we love all the care and attention she gets, and we can see (because she shows us) all she is learning there everyday… a big thankyou to all the staff

Hamilton is a special place. Our daughter who is now 17 months started here this year and you would think she had been going there for years with how quick she has taken to the place! Having started in family day care and then transitioning to Hamilton it is has been nothing but amazing for our daughter’s happiness and confidence. The educators are wonderful - welcoming, caring, engaged and consistent, and I truly believe this is why she has settled in with ease and now absolutely loves going. You can tell that the educators love to empower the kids and you can see how it makes them thrive Hamilton really is early learning (not just childcare) and everyday our daughter comes home with something new she has learned, whether its songs, actions to communicate, words or skills. The amazing outdoor area makes her days so enjoyable and I love seeing her covered in nature at the end of the day. We also strongly connected with the centre’s values around connecting to country, reconciliation, diversity, sustainability and life long learning. There is a real sense of community at Hamilton, for both the kids and parents, which enriches our experience even further. We’re excited by all the years we still have left at Hamilton for our children to grow with the centre

Our four beautiful children have all spent/are spending their early learning at Hamilton Childcare. The beautiful team are devoted to every aspect of our children’s learning and education and this comes to life through daily practices that are entrenched in Reggio Emilia philosophy. Outside of the home, The Hamilton Community has been one of the biggest (and most beautiful) influences in our children’s early years, shaping the way they view themselves, their community, nature and the world at large.

I am so happy with how intimate HCCC is. Our daughter has developed a genuine and beautiful attachment with her educators at a pivotal stage in her life. The curriculum is child led instead of being prescriptive—our daughter is thriving and we love seeing her grow in confidence each and every week.

Hamilton Child Care Centre is a wonderful community based service. With nature based philosophy and a very dedicated team of professionals educators that ensure children are at the heart of all their decisions.

After touring numerous well regarded centres in the area I was set on sending my little one to Hamilton Child Care Centre and Pre-School. Lovely outdoor natural space- it is so good seeing my daughter come home dirty from a day full of unlimited play. The centre is the perfect size, taking 36 or so children. Large enough to benefit from a range of resources and team of teachers with a unique mix of skills, personalities and expertise. Intimate enough for children to feel safe and secure and to develop lovely bonds with all teachers. For little ones continuity in attachment figures and carers is so important. This centre has family grouping- all ages interacting throughout the day, with some specific activities separated into age groups as appropriate. This works so well- allowing my 1.5 year old only child to be inspired by children if all ages and stages of development. I felt so supported whilst gently transitioning my daughter to daycare- I spent a lot of time on site while my child learnt to trust her new carers and I was so impressed with what I observed. Kylie, the director, knows her stuff. Kylie and her staff are incredibly passionate and holistic in the care they provide. All meals are provided- I sat in for lunch a few times and loved observing meal time. The meal plans change regularly and are healthy and yummy. The centre is surrounded by a beautiful parent community, attracting lovely families who help out with the committee. It is so refreshing seeing a community daycare fulfil its goals, instead of the all too common for-profit model. We accepted random days to begin with though we were soon able to secure suitable days.

My child has been at Hamilton Child Care Centre since just before he turned two. He loves the Centre and staff. He always asks if it is a day care day and is disappointed if its not. I love that he is stimulated and happy.
