Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

The primarily child-directed, play-based curriculum ensures that the children are engaged in their learning. Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

Hello, My name is Janani and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Frankston South – Flinders Road.
I have worked in Early Learning for 15 years and hold a Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education. Throughout my time with Goodstart, I have worked as an educator across all ages ranging from six weeks to six years. I have experienced many roles including Team Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Director and Centre Director.
I am passionate about Early Childhood Education and committed to providing the best possible care and learning opportunities for the children in their early years learning journey.
I believe children should have the opportunity to explore rich and purposeful experiences throughout the day to reach their full potential in their first six years and that is only possible through high-quality early learning.
Being a mum myself, I understand the importance for families to find a perfect place for their children. A place where they feel safe, respected and supported and included socially and emotionally.

Goodstart has been a great choice for my daughter. The staff at the centre are always friendly and helpful and her educators in the toddler room are fantastic. So many learning opportunities throughout the day with regular updates about what they are doing and so much care and understanding for each child and their temperament. She loves going in and playing with her friends.

Goodstart Frankston South is an amazing centre! We are so grateful to have our children there.<br><br>A special thank you to the Toddler 2 room educators - Tirza, Gemma, Belinda and Chantelle. You are all so caring, loving and wonderful with the children. Thank you so much for creating such a warm, safe and beautiful environment for them.<br><br>And to the Toddler 1 room educators - Gagan, Santosh and Ekta. Thank you for taking such great care of our little one. He was so little when he first started, and it has been amazing to see how much he has learnt and grown. He absolutely loves his educators and friends!<br><br>We also have to mention the food! Both of our kids love the food at Goodstart, and the chef makes such delicious and nutritious meals for the children. They always enjoy mealtimes!<br><br>One thing that really stands out to us is how friendly and caring everyone is. The staff know our children’s names even when they are not in their room, which really shows how much they care about every child.<br><br>Our kids are always happy and excited to go to Goodstart, and as parents, it gives us such peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy and well cared for while they are there.<br><br>Thank you so much to the whole Goodstart Frankston South team for everything you do. My 2 year old absolutely ADORES her educators in the toddler 1 room at Goodstart Early Learning Frankston South. Ekta and Gagan care for my daughter and educate her as if she were their own. The team go to great lengths to create fun learning activities for the toddlers spanning across early literacy, counting, art and music and I can see my toddler is learning some wonderful things.<br><br>I would highly recommend Goodstart Frankston South. My elder daughter loves attending 4 year old kinder there too and has been suitably prepped for primary school next year. I feel really comfortable leaving the girls in care and they love it too. The centre has also been incredibly flexible when I am needing to switch or add casual days due to work.
