We enrolled our son at Goodstart Canterbury Road South when he was 14 months old in the Nursery room, and we have had a wonderful experience. Sending him to childcare for the first time was a big milestone for us, but the educators made the transition so much easier. Ash and Helen in the Nursery room have been absolutely amazing. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care helped our son settle in and gave us great peace of mind as parents. I would send my son here a lot earlier if I know how great they are!!! The Nursery team has created such a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment, and it has been lovely to see our son's confidence, social skills, and independence grow since starting. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photos throughout the day. Although our son has not yet moved into the Toddler room, we have had the opportunity to meet many of the Toddler educators and regularly see how they interact with the children. It is clear that they are just as caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated, and it gives us confidence and excitement for the next stage of our son's journey at the centre. We are incredibly grateful to the whole team at Goodstart Canterbury Road South and would highly recommend the centre to any family looking for a caring and professional childcare environment.

My little one has been attending this centre since she was 8 months old. She initially struggled with attachment and separation anxiety, which was difficult for both of us, especially while I was at work. Helen was incredibly supportive and regularly updated me throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. Helen and Ash make a fantastic team in the nursery room. They created such a warm and nurturing environment that my daughter quickly became comfortable with them. Before long, she was talking about them at home and happily saying goodbye to me at drop-off each morning. Their care and support have taken a huge weight off my shoulders and allowed me to focus on my work, knowing that my child is safe, well cared for, and happy. It is wonderful to see how much she enjoys her days with Helen and Ash. I am truly grateful for the positive impact they have had on our family’s childcare experience. I am also excited to see my daughter move up to the toddler room soon. I can’t wait for her to embark on new adventures, continue learning, and grow with the support of the wonderful educators at the centre.

Goodstart early learning Canterbury road south have been amazing to deal with, they show our daughter lots of attention and care while also working on her development which has been noticeably excelling. We also love drop offs and pick ups chatting to staff and other parents, a great environment we couldn't recommend this place more

If we could rate this place 6 out of 5 stars, we would. The Goodstart team at Vermont Canterbury Rd South have been amazing for both our little toddler and us nervous parents. They’ve made our little one welcome from day one, and have somehow managed to train us to relax a little too! Such a caring, happy and easy-going environment which GENUINELY LOVELY educators. We’re so grateful our little love is in such good hands. The centre is squeaky clean and well-equipped. Meals are great and they have a terrific range of activities. But most impressive is the warm and caring team who communicate really well. Highly recommend to any parents handing over their tiny human for the first time.

We have been with Good Start Vermont South for over three years now, from the baby room through to kinder, and the care, support and love shown towards our child has been truly incredible. The educators and staff consistently go above and beyond to make every child feel safe, happy and valued. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is genuinely cared for and we have felt that every single day. Watching our child grow, learn, and thrive in such a nurturing environment has meant so much to our family. We are deeply grateful for the dedication, kindness and effort the entire team puts into what they do.

We've been extremely happy with the high-quality care and responsiveness of staff at Goodstart Canterbury Road South since our son started in the nursery a few months ago. Helen is especially doting of our toddler and goes the extra mile to help him have a great day, and we've had positive interactions with other floor staff too (including Ash, Gudhi, Ming and others). Management leadership (Vicki, Wenwen, Hannah) have also been flexible and responsive to our changing needs for care. Our son had no trouble settling in from Day 1 and loves the range of indoor and outdoor play activities plus delicious meals provided throughout the day. It's been lovely to see his growth and development since starting here. We were initially attracted to the centre based on Goodstart's not-for-profit values, this specific service's 'exceeding' rating against the national quality standard, incorporation of Montessori approaches (hands on learning through sensory play, mixed age groups), and sole use of Goodstart staff and casuals in the centre. Definitely feels like we made the right decision, so a big thank you to the team at Goodstart Canterbury Rd South!

My daughter Nep (Minh) has been attending this childcare centre, and we are truly grateful for all the care and support from the teachers here. All the educators are very friendly, caring, and welcoming. As my daughter has grown and moved into different rooms, we would especially like to thank teachers like Guddi, Demi, and Min. When she was younger, teachers such as Ash, Helen, and Min took such good care of her. Even after moving to a new class, there were days when she still cried at drop-off, but the teachers always welcomed her warmly and patiently helped her settle in. As parents, having that kind of support gives us great peace of mind. We genuinely feel very comfortable and reassured having our daughter here.
