Family Tree Learning Centre is a privately owned and operated Long day care in Bateau Bay, NSW.
Our centre caters for children aged 2 years to 5 years. We are open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year and closed on public holidays
At Family Tree Learning Centre we strive to offer your family the highest quality of care and education through providing a program for your child that is stimulating, fun and which fosters each child’s development.
We acknowledge the importance of play and have designed the environment to encourage choice, enabling all children to experience a level of success daily, on their own, with their peers and caregivers.
We have 3 classrooms:
2-3-year-old room – Lilli-Pilli room
3-4-year-old room - Banksia room
4-5-year-old room - Waratah room
Staff work with the children and families to transition the children between rooms. This transition is dependent on many factors such as the child’s social groupings, the developmental stage, year child will transtion to school, the dynamics of the room they will be moving into and if a vacancy exists. Most of the children transition between rooms as a group at the beginning of the new year.
Throughout the day there are opportunities for the children to mix with siblings and children from other rooms – especially in our large outdoor play environment.
