Posting on behalf:<br>My daughter attended Busy Kidz Preschool from Dec 2021 until just recently graduating at the end of 2025. To say we were sad to be leaving this journey behind us, as all the staff felt like family. Always welcoming, approachable, friendly and I was happy to leave my child in their safe and capable hands. Snacks and lunch provided which is a bonus, as it gave my child a chance to try new things. Outside play with lots to do including a sandpit, x2 slides, cubby house and mud kitchen. Over the 4 years my daughter was a part of every age room, and I cannot fault any room leaders or staff at all. The staff gave my daughter a great start to education, and I am grateful for it and we miss you all.

Privately owned and family operated since 2002, Busy Kidz has been part of the Rosemeadow community for over two decades. Our centre is led by Kim, an experienced Early Childhood professional with over 38 years of teaching and leadership experience. Kim leads with care, integrity and passion, creating a nurturing environment where every child and family feels welcomed, respected and valued.
We understand how important it is for families to feel confident and comfortable when leaving their child in our care. That is why we focus on building genuine relationships and creating calm, secure spaces where children feel a strong sense of belonging.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we see children as capable, curious and full of potential. Our educators thoughtfully follow children’s interests, encouraging exploration, creativity and meaningful learning through play. We take the time to listen, to connect and to nurture each child’s unique strengths.
Our three welcoming playrooms are intentionally designed to feel warm and inviting, with quality resources that encourage imagination, collaboration and independence. Our large outdoor environment offers natural shade, climbing equipment, forts and open-ended materials that allow children to explore, move and connect with nature in a safe and engaging way.
We provide nutritious meals prepared fresh each day by our in-house cook, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon tea.

I’m Kim, and I feel incredibly proud to be the Owner and Director of Busy Kidz Preschool, a centre I have lovingly owned and operated for over 24 years.
With 38 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, I have had the privilege of supporting generations of children and families through their early learning journey — each one holding a special place in my heart.
For me, it has always been about relationships. I truly believe that when children feel safe, valued, loved and connected, they are able to grow, learn and thrive. Building strong, genuine partnerships with families and creating a warm, welcoming, home-like environment is at the heart of everything we do at Busy Kidz.
My vision is to ensure our centre is a place where every child feels a deep sense of belonging, every family feels supported and respected, and every educator feels valued and inspired. At Busy Kidz, you will always be greeted with a friendly face from one of our team, a listening ear and a genuine sense of care.
How We Ensure Safety Through Our People
Rigorous Recruitment & Screening – At Busy Kidz Preschool, all educators and team members undergo thorough recruitment and screening processes, including Working With Children Checks, identity verification, qualifications, work history, references, and right to work checks. All staff complete child protection training to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.
Ongoing Staff Training – Our educators and leaders are committed to continuous professional learning. This includes regular training in child protection, recognising and responding to harm, mandatory reporting, safe sleep practices, and creating safe, respectful environments for all children.
Clear Policies & Procedures – We maintain strong, transparent systems for reporting and responding to concerns. Our practices are guided by our comprehensive policies, including Child Protection, Code of Conduct, Risk Management, and Incident Reporting, ensuring consistent and accountable responses at all times.

Been to a few childcare centres in the area and Busy Kidz was the best by far. My daughter is so happy to go. She’s had the same educators since she’s started. Kim and all the staff are so welcoming, caring and accommodating! The centre is clean, always smells lovely and feels so homely. Highly recommend!!
