They are all amazing workers they go way beyond for every Little oney

Hands down one of the best childcare centres in Townsville. The staff live to work and it shows through their commitment to the children. All meals and nappies are provided but the family connections and love is free. You won't want to leave once your children become a part of this community centre. Cultural, religious and social inclusion is of the utmost importance at VRCC. Even myself and my school aged child has learnt a lot through the input of this centre and the parents of other children. You will see why so many family members work here or become family. Some of the staff have also been children of this centre, which is a reflection of how much this place holds significance for our community. For 4 years I've been a parent of children at this centre, (from Aug 2019 to now, Feb 2023) I'm now a member of the board, and I enjoy participating as a voice for the community, the parents, the staff and the children here. Whist that may seem biased, I can say it is the sole reason I volunteered to be on the board. My child will graduate this year, Dec 2023 🥺 But I don't plan on leaving. I hope to see Vickers Road Community Centre continue it's incredible contribution to our community, and more importantly, the children we are raising. I have two girls that are in care here and they both love it. There never seems to be a shortage of cool stuff my girls are learning there and they love their teachers too. I love that they are a community not for profit organisation as well. Oh and the icing on the cake for me was that one weekend, my family was at the waterpark and the director's family just so happened to be there and her children were so sweet and polite, they just played with and looked after my girls just because they could. Her kids were testament to her own abilities when it comes to childcare. Highly recommend.

My son has gone to this daycare centre from 6 months old he is now nearly 3. I love the fact that it is a family orientated daycare and that my child is being cared by ladies who are mum's themselves. I receive an email everyday sharing what my child has done along with beautiful photos of the fun he has had. I know my son loves and enjoys his time with his friends and care givers at this centre. It makes it easy leaving him there in the morning knowing he is safe, happy and going to have lots of fun.

Our daughters have been attending this centre for 2 years. When we started our youngest was not quite 6 months old and a very full on baby. She wouldn't take a bottle, wouldn't sleep in a cot and needed to be held almost all the time. All staff were amazing! The baby room staff even used a baby carrier with our daughter as that was what we did at home. When we started BLW all staff received training on how to safely support our daughter through this. Our eldest daughter has settled right in. She loves going and often tells me she isn't ready to come home. We have even had tears on days we don't go because she wants to go so badly. We love this centre so much and can't fault anything at all. All staff know our names and love our girls like we do. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a centre for their child. They will be in amazing hands here!

My son went to this childcare when we lived in Townsville. He was a baby. Was the worst management iv ever experienced, rude awful manager, and because I told her she was she booted my child from the daycare at 8months old. Would never ever take my child here

Loved this little centre when my boys attended. Such a family atmosphere and the staff are so welcoming.
